"SERENA'S BEEN IN jail for over four hours!" Blair hadn't been the only one who was counting how long the four of them lounged within the lobby of NYPD's police station. Victoria could feel the pain in her bottom, from sitting on the rock hard chairs rested there for those who were waiting for news or for someone to be freed from the cells located at the back of the station. Blair had grown impatient and she had begun to pace the lobby of the station, her brows crossed and her fist clenched at her sides. "She's already served more time than Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan combined."

Blair had eyes following her during her pace, Chuck's dark brown eyes were narrowed upon her, Nate was slouched into the chair beside the Humphrey only wishing for the Waldorf to stop her pace and settle down. All Blair was doing was tiring herself out, and also aching her feet stuck in the pumps she wore.

Nate's tiredness had overwhelmed him, leading to his head gently falling onto Victoria's shoulder and his hand landing on her right thigh. He had been grateful she had waited with them, even when he had suggested for her to go home and get some rest. But Victoria found it difficult to do so. Serena had become part of her family, and she knew that her being behind a cell was something she didn't quite understand. There was no crime Serena van der Woodsen had committed, apart from defying her mother's order and trying to catch an actual criminal.

Chuck's eyes rolled. "She's a socialite mistakenly accused of stealing a bracelet. I doubt they're looking her over with the phone book."

"When I called Lily, she said she was on her way." Victoria pinched the bridge of her nose as her head tilted to rest on top of Nate's. "Where is she?"

Even with his eyes fluttered closed, Nate had latched onto every word spoken surrounding him. "I just can't believe she had her own daughter arrested. I mean, who does that?"

"Someone who's never been arrested." Chuck answered with a slight smirk upon his lips.

"Hello." Victoria's head lifted the moment a familiar voice filled her ears leading to her eyes darting towards the receptionist. "I'm Lilian Bass." Nate sighed in defeat when Victoria had jumped from the chair to focus her hard stare upon the elder blonde wrapped warm in a scarf and rather nonchalant with the current predicament her daughter remained in. "I'm here for my daughter, Serena van der Woodsen."

While the officer greeted her with a light smile, some sort of politeness that some were less fortunate not to receive, Lily's gaze flickered beyond the police officers to the four teens awaiting for the moment she was to notice them. Victoria's arms crossed over her chest and her eyes narrowed into slits when Lily's gaze flickered in their direction, unaware that they had been lingering within the station for quite some time.
