I let go of the guy I'm making out with and turned to Irene who is now screeching.
"Did I hear you right jennie? You're not coming?!" I frowned and left the guy to go to Irene and the rest also followed hearing her outburst.
"But tomorrow's beach day!" I snatched the phone from her and put it on loudspeaker and lisa motioned to the dj to tone it down
"—ying right? Mom's not having any of it! I'm sorry guys. I'll be stuck in the middle of nowhere all summer! Can you guys believe it?!" Jennie groaned and I know it's harder for her than us.
"You tomorrow's just beach day or whatever? But what about our summer getaway?" I asked. It'll be our last time doing it since who knows how busy we'll be, especially me once we get to university.
"It sucks I know." We looked at each other and sighed.
"Guess we'll have to cancel." Hyejin muttered
"Oh no no no! I don't want you guys to be as miserable as me. Do go on without me."
"Are you sure?"
"Just don't tag me in the photos or better yet hide your posts from me!" We laughed
"I don't think we need to bother about that jen, I thought you'll be going to the countryside?" I winked at the bar tender who gave me a glass of martini
"Well surely there will still be service there right? I mean I will die of boredom if there isn't! Anyway, got to go and pack now. You guys enjoy for me and maybe plan to kidnap me or something." We all laughed at her last sentence.
"I don't want to be grounded for a whole month again, no thank you." We're capable of doing it but we already did it before and our parents knows us best. Next time we pull the same trick we'll be grounded for a year!
We said our goodbyes and I locked my eyes in a new target.
"Bitch 3 o'clock's mine!" I called out and swayed my way to the dancing bodies as the music turnt up.
What about the guy I made out earlier? What about him? He must be there somewhere.
I don't do relationships. It will just be a waste of time. All that sappy crap and clinginess annoys the hell out of me, besides, they all just want one thing. So why not skip through the lies and pretenses and spare yourself the drama?
