"Congratulations guys! You did it!" Jisoo grinned at us and gave us bouquet of chocolates. Much to chaeyoung's happiness.

"Hyunjin-ah!" Irene squats down and opened her arms widely at the 3 year old boy running towards her with his father tailing behind him. We all gave irene a teasing look when Jin gave her a kiss on the cheek. She glared and smacked jin's chest, glaring but a her blush on became redder. Still in denial I see.

"She's sti-" Oh? Where did my baby go?? I looked around for hoseok. I walked around craning mhy neck to find my boyfriend who was just beside me earlier. I was startled when a panting taehyung grabbed my arm.

"Help me." He says, almost tearing up and I gasped "Jennie?" He nodded vigorously and pulled me with him. I looked around to tell the others but they got quickly swallowed by the crowd. I can't see them anymore.

Taehyung received a call and he paused on the stairs. Why are we going up? What were they doing there? "What?! No no no no! Jennie please!" He dashed off the stairs, leaving me behind.

I snapped out from my questions "Hey wait up! Did you call the ambulance already?!" I yelled, running after him and kicked off my heels, scooping it up so I can run better. I panted hunched over, pausing to take a breath. What were they doing in the rooftop of our school?

I straightened up to climb to rest of the stairs when I heard a soft melody. It seems familiar... I slowly walked towards the door heading to the rooftop and my heart pounded.

"Tae? Jen?" I called out and opened the door. I don't see them.

I took hesitant steps froze, my eyes suddenly tearing up, my shoes and bouquet fell out of my hands as I cover my mouth.

Of course the melody was familiar! It was Because of You by Keith Martin. The song I used to confess to hoseok. Jisoo grinned as she continued to play on the keyboard. I sobbed seeing all of my friends and our parents there, each holding a candle and heart shaped balloons but I don't see hoseok.

"W-what's this?" I slowly walked towards them then I hear him

"Moon byul-yi." I twirled and found him there, in one knee.

I feel so nervous as I wait for her. My hands were clammy and I wipe it with my pants. I planned this for months and thankfully the weather is nice which is very important for today, I just hope taehyung is able to fool her. She's just so sharp sometimes.

Seokjin slapped a hand on my shoulders and massaged it telling me to take a deep breath and I did. Taehyung arrived and glared at me "You better pay me for all that excercise." He grumbles and jennie chuckled, pulling him up to stand beside her and he immediately put a hand on his wife's back, still grumbling about why he needed t lead her up the stairs and not us the elevator.

"Go." They pushed me to hide as we hear byul-yi calling out to taehyung and jennie and then I see her, she looked around and took a couple of steps forward, finally seeing everyone. I only see her back but I know she's crying. She went closer to them and I knew it was time. I took a deep breath and silently walked behind her and bent in one knee

"Moon Byul-yi..." She turned around and I can't help but grin at her but my eyes are starting to sting.

"I know you still have a long way to go for you to achieve your dreams in becoming a pediatric surgeon, but will you let me be there with you in every step of your waking day? I promise I won't be a hindrance." she threw herself at me and bawled, vigorously nodding her head. Her parents were teary eyed and our friends cheered. I pulled her away so I can put the ring on her finger.

She looked at the ring sitting on her right hand and sniffed then cupped my face to give me a kiss. I stood up, bringing her with me, embracing her in a tight hug.

"Whyd you have to make me run the stairs? I'm so sweaty and my hair's all over the place!" I complained and he chuckled, kissing the side of my head

"Sorry, that was the only way for taehyung to get a headstart." I explained

"I knew there was something going on! Mom can't meet me in the eye and have been avoiding me!" My dad laughed "You know she can't keep a secret." I giggled and my mom pouted mumbling how she survived without spoiling the surprise anyway and my dad complimented her.

I looked at my future husband and grinned. It's crazy! I didn't believe in relationships, I thought those are just a waste of time! I never thought I'd get married yet here I am, engaged to someone whom I thought will never be mine. I looked at my ring and the hand that held mine. I feel so happy my heart could burst!

"I love you." He whipers and I looked at him

"I love you too." He chuckled and pulled me for another kiss

"Alright! Cut it out already! I was promised food after this!" We broke the kiss and laughed Hyejin. We headed to the restaurant our parents reserved for today's event and I looked at my friends feeling nostalgic. Our past selves flashed to my mind and when I closed my eyes, I could see us all gathered with our own families.

As a chapter closes to its end, a new beginning awaits us as we go through the struggle of facing reality and for some of us, parenthood, and I can't wait to have mine.

"You ok?" Hoseok squeezed my hand and I opened my eyes to smile at him "Never better."
