Episode 12: L e t h e

He looked up at me with those warm brown eyes as startled as a hunted deer. My body was still trembling and I wasn't sure if my legs were going to hold me up any longer.

This couldn't be happening right now.

My eyes scanned every inch of him that I could see, and still, none of this was registering inside of my head.

"Oh my God." I gasped, covering my mouth with my second hand remembering how offensive that was to demons. Surprisingly, Jimin didn't even cringe. He was just looked back at me as if I was the one who died and came back to life.

"ABRAXAS!" I screamed and Jimin flinched, pressing himself back into the couch while he looked around himself back and forth. "Oh my...Jimin? Is it really you?" I blinked away the tears blocking my vision. Slowly, his head tipped up and down into a small nod. "Jimin..." my voice cracked and without a second of hesitation, I threw myself at him into a hug, bawling my eyes out.

Immediately, his body tensed up and he began to squirm and panic, trying to get out of my tight grip.

"Help!" He screamed, weakly trying to pry my arms off of him. Quickly, I backed away, wiping my eyes and looked back at his terrified expression. "What...what are you doing?!"

"Jimin..." My head turned over to Abraxas who was watching from afar with a nervous look in his eyes. "What's wrong with him?"

"So...the thing is..." Abraxas started off slowly.

"Why do you keep saying my name?" Jimin cut him off, blinking at me with confusion. "You're calling me Jimin...but...but do I know you?"

My heart sunk down to my stomach. One close look at his eyes and I got my answer from his unfamiliar gaze.

His brown eyes danced around the room, nervously swinging back to me and down to the rug.

"Jimin, do...do you know my name?"

He stared at my face then looked me in the eyes before shaking his head firmly. "No. Wh-Who are you?"

V screamed, dropping down to the floor and rolling around with pain. He clutched his chest, feeling a painful sharpness tearing him apart before it moved up to his head. He screamed as if someone was mashing his brain to pieces. His breathing grew unsteady and his talons buried into his fist as he banged them against the ground, trying to get rid of the pain.

Jin stumbled into the living room, still healing from the wounds he suffered while fighting the mob of demons. Truthfully, he was chasing after J-hope, who had suddenly disappeared and sent his demons off elsewhere, but he froze as soon as he saw V practically looking like he was close to death.

"Brother!" He stumbled over, skidding down on his knees and holding V's up by the shoulders. He was hot to the touch and trembling. His eyes were rolled back and black blood dripping down from them like tears. "Fucking hell!Brother, what's wrong with you? What happened!"

"I-It hurts!" V groaned, clenching down on his teeth as another painful cry struggled out of his mouth.

"It's ok...it's ok, try to relax..." Jin blinked with frustration, staring down at his brother's painful episode with no clue on how to help. He placed a hand on V's chest and shut his eyes, thinking he could possibly draw out some of the pain.

As soon as Jin started, he quickly drew his hand back breathing heavily. In only one second of sharing V's pain, Jin actually felt like he was going to die. He grit his teeth with anger at how helpless he was.
