Episode 72: U n h o l y  A l l i a n c e

Aiko bent down, picking up the blue marble that he entrapped his father in, and placed it in the pocket of his jeans.

"Shit." Damien cursed just as Natella looked down at his wrist. Both of their metal bracelets glowed into a bright molten orange before snapping off into pieces, leaving behind a circular burn mark on their wrists. The molten metal evaporated into thin air along with the seal placed on the prophecy.

"What kind of sick joke is this?" Satan's figure seethed with his black-greyish flames as he placed Hanul onto the floor behind him, glaring at a certain angel behind Aiko.

Natella quickly teleported to Hanul's side, removing her from any range of harm, and retreated back beside Damien. Cautiously, they observed the event unfolding before them with uncertainty.

"What...the FUCK!" Pride burst into blue flames besides a stunned Jin who was staring at Sera. standing behind Min with an anxious gaze.

"Well, did you like my little surprise, Lucifer?" Min cocked his head with a sickening smile, eyeing the archangel. "Doesn't it remind you of your quite...unfortunate past?"

Satan's face dropped completely, nothing except spite and resentment left on it. "You really thought this was a good idea? This..." he scoffed, "...very immature behavior, Min. You're still exactly the same as I've left you. A dumb little child. Oh, and where's the twin? Was it Nim? Yes, Nim. He had some potential at least."

"DO NOT UTTER MY BROTHER'S NAME ON YOUR TONGUE!" Min's white flames flourished with anger.

"Or what?" Satan lifted a brow, placing on a taunting smirk.

"You seem to be confused." Min regained his cool. "You're the ones in trouble right now. Out of everyone here, you should know what it means to make enemies with Xapham, Satan."

"Well, from what I've heard, up there isn't quite the same as how it used to be. Perhaps, this is all because you're the ones who feel threatened."

With a snap of Min's fingers, hundreds of angels filled up the mansion, surrounding them from all angles. Sera gasped, turning around with shock before focusing her eyes back at Aiko with a hint of nervousness.

"Called your friends over? What, you can't handle it alone?" Satan cracked his neck to the side, stretching his shoulders back before a loud "whoosh" of black feathers sprouted out of his shoulders, shredding his white button-down. With one flap of his wings, the air surrounding him rippled into waves, washing over the entire radius of the area with a violent flurry. "Well, bring it on then." He grinned, widening his heterochromatic eyes with excitement.

"Aiko!" Sera suddenly called in the midst of it, running out from behind Min.

"Now." Aiko nodded as Sera hurled an alarm clock at him, continuing to dash towards him.

Min narrowed his eyes, glancing at their unplanned move as the boy caught the alarm clock. "And just what do you think you two are doing?" He scoffed with suspicion.

Natella's eyes widened watching as Sera crouched down beside Aiko and chanted a spell. She watched the familiar movements of her fingers weaving together.

"Min," Aiko smiled, tossing the clock up in the air. Watching it tumble down through the air, about mid-way down, Aiko powerfully jumped up and spiked the clock towards the angel at a massive speed.

"Oh," Min disappeared.

"Behind! To the left," Aiko yelled, his eyes shut tightly with sweat dripping down the side of his face.
