Episode 36: S p i d e r  W e b

Some relationships are but as strong as a spider's web. They seem to be weaving and weaving, in hopes of building a great home that could support them. However, just as the spider's efforts come to close, the web is swatted away as easily as it would be to dust off a counter. So fragile a family is.

"So fragile," Dalia mumbled, leaning back from the garden rosebush that a spider had recently made a home in. White wings of a struggling butterfly quickly got captured before it even knew it. The spider made his move.

"Dalia." Jimin entered the garden, taking her smoothly into his arms as she turned to face him. A sly and manipulative smile was plastered on his face indicating that Lust had fully taken over the boy's body. Hopefully, as Dalia intended, forever. "How was the meeting with Namjoon?"

"Oh, not too bad." She coddled his face into her arms and gave him a deep kiss, before breaking free from him and heading back into their hidden house. She poured some Gin into a glass for the two of them and took a savoring sip. "He agreed to the conditions we wanted, so I think we'll be fine carrying out our plan, love. My issue is, will that other brother of yours truly hold up the end of his bargain. You told me before that when he abandoned the family he mentioned that his power was Illusion?"

Jimin leaned against the counter, staring off the space with plotting eyes. "It's a matter of who'll betray the other person first. From the start, I knew that neither of us would actually comply with the rules. There's definitely a plan B that they're ready to initiate after putting on a show of helping us.

Dalia sipped her Gin quietly, knowing that this would play out well if it did work out well. Jimin had no idea about Namjoon getting his soul back for her personal possession--not his. If J-hope were to actually betray them--and she was sure he would before Jimin had even explained the possible betrayal--then she'd simply tell Jimin that he didn't let his soul out either. Meanwhile, she'd have it with her. And having Satan out of the cell was something she contemplated, but didn't necessarily hate. Satan favored Jimin, and for that, he'd definitely go after the strongest again and use him as the heir. With Dalia by Lust's side, she'd finally get all she had wanted with total authority.

"That's why I want you to track Namjoon when he goes to take my soul. I trust that you'll be able to handle it. Make sure he at least does that. And if J-hope chooses to pull something off then we'll still have what we wanted anyway."

"Perfect." Dalia placed down her glass and grabbed Jimin's neck instead, pressing a passionate kiss that flared up into a deeper make out session.

"Maybe if we try using the rings we'll find out where he is?" I suggested, pacing around.

"The rings will only tell us if he loses control of his powers." V shook his head, tapping his foot as he thought to himself deeply.

"Well, where could he be?" Mina chimed in.

"Anywhere." V clenched his fist. "He might be able to use his powers, but he has no intention behind it. He could have thrown himself anywhere and---"

"What?" I glared up at V's face. "Why did you stop talking!" He held his hand out and I looked at him with confusion.

"Luna..." V looked back at me. "She just sent me a call."

"A call?"

"I don't have time to explain, but she told me Aiko is with them! Grab my hand we're going." Without delays, I held onto his hand and looked back at Mina.

"I'm going to come too! If you used Breaker on him then I want to be there to calm him down." Mina held my hand.

"Hurry." I urged V who wasted no more time. In the next moment, my feet hit the green grass of the coven's village and I quickly ran over to Luna, the first person I saw waiting for us by the Elder's house.
