Episode 34: A n E x c h a n g e

A mysterious and untimely exchange happening in an unknown location:

"Fancy meeting you here." A mischievous red smile was painted on the lips of the mystery woman.

"Not very pleased by your appearance Dalia, but I would rather not waste any more time. What did you want to speak with J-hope about?" Namjoon took the empty seat next to the bar table, removing the mask from around his eyes. They blended right into the 80's retro-vibe of today's theme at some sky-line top class bar.

"Well, I thought I'd be the one speaking with J-hope directly." She lifted her black-veiled hat and placed it down on the table, revealing that oddly familiar, yet more scheming gaze.

"Our leader is too busy to speak with the likes of you."

"Hm, well I guess that makes you and I the same then. Jimin, your lovely brother, would rather have me as a messenger too. So please, don't shoot me." She leaned closer to him with a mocking look of innocence as she placed a delicate hand over her lowcut blacktop.

"Cut to the chase, Dalia."

"Boy, you're no fun." She leaned back into the seat and re-crossed her long smooth legs, still taking her time despite the impatient purple fire growing in his eyes. Frankly, Dalia had always loved irritating Namjoon the most. Getting under his skin was fairly so simple and she enjoyed seeing that beautiful lavender burst into violence. "Well, what do you think of forming an alliance?"

Namjoon cooled down, weighing the strategies that he and J-hope had been discussing recently. It's already been a long time since V and Hanul disappeared to Hell taking Aiko with them. They too would benefit from an alliance. But how exactly Dalia would benefit is what he wanted to understand.

"Interesting, what is the offer?"

"Our strength and Jimin's status as the eldest in exchange for his soul."

His soul? The fact that she wanted his soul was definitely unexpected. Out of anything she could have asked for, why that? Namjoon's suspicions only rose with unease as Dalia was never one to easily predict.

"What are you going to do with it? Surely you're at least smart enough to know that the only reason he can tolerate you is that he lacks his soul. If he takes it back then your little adventures won't last."

"Thanks for your concern, but I'm definitely aware. This request, however, is my own. I'd rather keep his soul with me than have it stuck with Satan in that dirty cage."

"And what makes you so sure we'd be willing to agree to those terms?" Namjoon continued testing her waters.

"Oh," she leaned closer enough for her dark eyes to pierce into him intensely. Her long dark nails drummed into the bar table, "because I know exactly what you want. And if I help you then I'll definitely be able to get his soul too."

"And what exactly do I want."

"To free Satan," she smiled sinfully as Namjoon's lavender flame flared back up. "Your older brother might not want that though..."

"You witch." He growled, realizing that she had already read through everything without having to break a sweat.

"I don't like to spread rumors, but you should understand with business, I expect you to keep up the other end of the bargain. Meaning, that if you fail to reach my conditions then I'll, unfortunately, have to spill what I know to your new boss, J-hope. And knowing how spontaneous he is, I'm not sure what he'd end up doing at that point."
