"Do you think we can have a conversation now?"

My shoulders shrugged as my head hung low.

"Hanul," V called out my name but I didn't reply. "Are you okay?" He scooted into my room hesitantly.

"I'm fine."

He stood quiet and kept distance, both of us knowing that it was a complete lie.

"Can you rely on me at least? Put a small ounce of trust? I can help you, you know that Hanul."

"Trust?" I scoffed and held my head tightly, liting my knees up to my chest. I already had to bear with this insufferable headache everyday and now he was feeding me these lies. "Just leave me alone."

"Have you been seeing those weird visions again? Is anything strange happening to you?"

"Quit nagging at me and get out." I stared back at him with my bloodshot eyes. To be honest, I couldn't sleep. Not a wink. Every time I shut my eyes I was overwhelmed by visions. Moreover, the voices in my mind made sure I couldn't sleep. They were so loud, scared, and harsh. Warning. Warnings. Over and over again. They were all warning me about him. My whole existence was terrified of V.

"Let's have dinner together, okay?" He suddenly offered. My eyes widened with surprise. I hadn't left the room in two months and he's suddenly asking me to go out now?

There must be something he's planning. Was it even safe for me? What if he was tricking me? What if it was a trap!

"Hanul, is that okay?"

I snapped out of my thoughts, finally looking up at his sincere face. I gave him a small nod before I looked away again. If I had rejected it then maybe a chance to escape would've been missed. I certainly wouldn't find one in this room, but going out might help me. Even though I was terrified of the risk I had taken.

My eyes quickly glanced up my the shattered mirror but I flinched with fear watching my own reflection smiling back at me.

Why? Why was there an alter version of me? I wasn't a demon, so who the hell was that staring back at me?

"Hiya, brothers." Jungkook rolled up to dinner surprising us all. Jin nearly choked on his supplements and V's eyes narrowed down to the woman he dragged beside him. The poor girl looked absolutely mortified and disgusted. For some reason, I couldn't clearly see what it was, but there was a faint blue glimmer tying her arms that connected back to Jungkook's fingers.

"Jungkook, who...who is our guest?" Jin coughed, glaring at the girl with confusion. "I thought we decided on keeping family dinners strictly for family."

"Say hi to Solmi everyone!" Jungkook grinned. "She's my new toy."

"Toy?" V's eyes glared over at him. "Keep you sick antics out of my sights, will you."

"Wait...that's a human?" Jin widened his eyes at her. "Hey," he waved his hands across her face.

"What are you doing?" She grunted.
