Episode 30: R e c l a i m

"My king! You've arrived!" Shin bowed his head down low before he stood back up, his eyes glossing over as he looked at V with more lust and love than I appreciated. He stood taller than I remembered and far leaner than expected. While his chest was bare, his arms seemed to have whips snaking around their length. The lower half of his body was of familiar brute warrior attire that I've seen while training with V in the past.

"So am I! Hello?" I waved my hands at him. Shin spared not a glance my way as he rushed over to V, placing his trembling hands on my man's bare shoulders.

"It really is you..." He sniffled. "So it's worked. You've managed to come back to your home! Oh, my Lord! How the kingdom has missed you!"

"I highly doubt that." V rolled his eyes. It wouldn't be Shin if he didn't exaggerate everything. "But, I didn't come here to have another fateful reunion with you. I've come here with direct orders."

"Of course!" Shin stood straight. "Hit me with them. Hit me with anything you've got my Lord. Hit me hard."

I cringed at his overtly sexualized way of talking to V. Old habits never die.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to give my son a nice upbringing." I interrupted them. "V, get us out of here now. I can't believe you brought us to this place." My stomached churred just watching those devasted demons crawling only to get sucked back into the sand.

"Hanul, I forgot to mention," V turned to me. "Shin is the commander of this dimension."

"No way." I scoffed, looking between their completely serious faces. "No..." I shook my head, remembering the ridiculous encounters I've seen Shin act in. It almost made me scoff if it weren't for his authoritative red eyes piercing through me.

"I'm the punisher of demons and Hell's very own trainer. On Earth, I might have not been able to portray my full strength or abilities since my disguise limits me, but do be smart and address me as I deserve. We take rankings very seriously in Abaddon. If you ask me, there's just way too much freedom on that little planet of yours." He spoke down to me as if he was suddenly standing on several steps higher.

"What a cocky bastard." I snorted, throwing him off by surprise. "You know, I never liked that about you. You're always staring at me like I'm some sort of threat to your existence!"

"That's because you are! You stole my King!"

"He's not yours!" I growled back, momentarily loosing cool and unleashing my white flames out. I can't believe I was actually arguing with him over something so stupid.

"My King!" Shin stomped his foot, turning over to V.

"I am..." V cleared his throat, looking away, "...hers". I couldn't help but flush at his statement, already imagining myself climbing several steps higher over Shin. Tossing my hair back, I threw him a smug look.

His eyes completely turned red and just as he was about to say something, V interrupted.

"Shin, I need a favor."

"At your command my lord." He immediately turned to him, lovestruck once more.

"I need you to fill me in on everything that's happened throughout my absence. Focus on the more recent things."

Shin wasted no time dropping to his knees and holding V's hand against his forehead. "Take a look, my lord. Use your powers for as long as you want."

"Are you sure you'd want me to use Lectorem?" He lifted a brow. "You know it'll hurt, right?" Shin nodded, only blushing in reply. That sick perverted man! What was he trying to do with my husband?! V rolled his eyes and proceeded to gather his energy.
