Episode 13: C h a o s

"What happened? WHAT HAPPENED? Well young lady, what happened was that he blew my hiding spot! And you want to tell me to what--RELAX? I've been minding my own business for longer than these punks have been on Savannah and probably before your great-great-great-great-great- great-great-great-grandmother could even screech out and have her first cry in this bloody world! The minute I choose to do something as crazy as invite a demon and Nephilim into my home thing just go to shit! No! Never again. Out. You're all leaving now!"

"Abraxas!" I yelled over his dramatic fit. "You can't just do that. You know we have nowhere else to go."

"Yes you do! Go back home!" He angrily yelled, and this time his eyes were glowing white. "I'm not going to hide you here forever, you know? It's only a matter of time before that psychotic blondie finds you too and threatens to blow this whole motel—forget that—it'll be the whole state that's blown to smithereens! There's no way I'll wait until that happens. Nope! No thank you!"

"No! I'm not going to leave! You said it yourself. V's psychotic! He's the reason I came this far in the first place! Please!"

"But V isn't a blondie anymore! That phase is over!" Sera chirped in. She wasn't helping.

"I don't care if he's a blondie or a rainbow headed fool! All I know is that because of that dimwitted devil I welcomed in here, it almost costed me my life and humble home!"

"But Jimin killed the angel for you! If anything, he's the one who you should thank! Look at him, he didn't even want to be a part of this mess." I stood my ground. Despite his usual self, Abraxas was one rude guy when he lost his temper.

"No one told him to go out and get some fresh air in the middle of the freaking night!"

"I did!" I defended. Jimin pressed his hands against his ears, shutting his eyes tightly as we argued. "I told him to. He was going to sleep in the bed but it was all my fault. Stop causing him more stress and listen to me for a minute!"

"WHAT!" Abraxas stared me down, finally taking a moment to cool off.

"I'm sorry. It's my fault. First off, you know that Jimin's...well he isn't himself right now. He went out for a walk and only one of the angels caught him. That angel is gone now. No one knows where you are. You're safe."

"It's only a matter of time before they notice that one of their teammates died, Hanul." Abraxas seriously consulted. "I'm sorry. But I don't think I can continue to hide you. I..." he took a deep breath, looking defeated. "I'm a coward. The reason why I dropped down from heaven was because of the same reason. The devil was able to see through my weakness and play me right into his schemes. I...I value my life too much Hanul, and I wouldn't sacrifice my safety for you lot. If you value your own life too, then you should return back. You're not going to be any safer here with me. I have a portal that you can take back to Korea. Besides, it's only a matter of time before Jimin does something else. He needs to be around his own people if he's ever going to get help. We can't do anything for him."

I stared down at Abraxas. He definitely had a point. But my mind was still nagging at me. "But I-I can't go to him. Returning to V would only put me in danger again."

"Danger?" Abraxas scoffed. "From what I heard, I think he's the only one who even cared about keeping you, a half-breed, alive. He...I mean, the legendary prince completely took a 180 degree change in personality and fought his father just to have you by his side. He's probably done much more too. I don't know where you're getting these thoughts from."

"You..." He wouldn't understand. No one will. Unless they've seen the visions I've seen.

"Return Hanul." He firmly looked me in the eye. "That's the best thing you can do for both of us."
