Chapter 14

"Hey, what's wrong" Grayson let's go of me and lead me inside his living room.

I sat down on the couch and wiped my tears away. "It's not fair"

"What's not fair, were did you come from." He looks at me pointing out how dressed up I look

"I need to use the bathroom" that was all I said before getting up and making my way to the bathroom.

I looked in the mirror and my makeup was all smudged. My mascara was running down my cheeks and my eyes were red. I looked miserable. I wiped my face and removed my makeup. Then I looked around and sighed. What is wrong with me, why had I come here. You know what I should just leave.

I got out the bathroom and Grayson was still in the living room "sorry for coming here, I should just go"

I was about to open the door when he grabbed my arm "no, not before telling me what's wrong"

I was hesitating. I noticed that the house was quiet and no one was home. I finally gave in and he sat me down.

"So what happened" he was looking at me

"Why do you care, it seems like no one cares" I snapped back. Honestly I just want to put my anger out on somebody

"Look I'm trying to help, your the one who came knocking at my door" he started to raise his voice

"Look I have enough problems in my life, I don't need you to be another one" I yelled

"Your the one who is making a problem. There's something always wrong with you, it's all about you and how you are feeling. You act like a fucking baby sometimes. You come to my house and yell at me, for what. You need to grow up" he yells back

The room became quiet and he was just starring at me so intensely. we stay there for a couple of seconds. i felt my eyes start to water and his face softened

"My dad is getting married" I whispered

"What do you mean he's getting married" he was confused

"Do you not know anything. Well this happens he left us, we found out he moved to California, we haven't even heard from him when all of the sudden he came back into our lives claiming how he wants to be a better father, then tells us he met another women and is getting married. It's like we're not enough for him" a tear went down my cheek. I don't know why I'm telling him this but it feels good to tell someone.

He was a little shocked and speechless. "I'm sorry" he said

"Yeah I'm sorry too, I'm sorry that we weren't the family he wanted"

He got up and took his car keys from the key holder and opened the door. "Come on let's go"

"What, where are we going" I said

"Just come on" I grabbed my purse and we went to his car. I opened the passenger seat and got in. Grayson started the car and we were now on the road.

"Where are you taking me"

He ignored me and I just grumbled. It was a long drive, about half an hour he finally stopped the car and got out. I followed him. In front of us was a hill.

"Come on, we have to go up the hill" he motioned for me to follow him

"Are you crazy, I have heels on" I pointed to my feet
