Buzzfeed Workers- Don't Underestimate Me

*I'm going to change things up with this one so instead of it being one of the ghoul boys it'll be anyone from the buzzfeed workers mentioned in the story so feel free to choose 😁*

It was just another normal day in the buzzfeed work place, except it wasn't every one was dead...just kidding you were all invited by a company to test out their laser tag program, you were exceptional at games like laser tag because as a child you spent a lot of time playing video games and 1st person shooters (if you don't play video games..well you do now) so your reflexes were better than most people's. Most people from the office showed up including the buzzfeed unsolved crew, the try guys, the lady like gals, and yourself plus all of the other people working there too.

"Hey (y/n) wanna form an alliance?" Shane asked.

"No can do dude it's every man for himself and I can't have anyone slowing me down no offense"

"None taken actually I totally understand and I wouldn't want you to turn on me when we'd be the last two standing, anyway your kinda scary"

You chuckled, he had a point it surprised most people how fast you are so it was expected that people would look over their shoulders when around you.

"I'll see you and Ryan there I need to finish something quick"

"Ok see ya"

You didn't actually need to finish something you didn't have to be there for at least and hour and 30 minutes, so you decided to go home and play a quick round of your favorite first person shooter game just to hype up your reflexes and prepare yourself.

After 30 minutes you won the match earning yourself 1st place on the leader board like always so no surprise. You had an hour left so you made something to eat, chose easy to move in comfy clothes, and went to take a shower.

You showed up to the place since it wasn't to far from you it didn't take to long to get there, once in the building you saw half the try guys, most of the lady like crew, Shane and Ryan, and the rest of the other people who showed up. It didn't take long for the rest of the people to show up and after. You were all fitted for your vests, given your guns and waited for the round to start.

The round started as soon as the count down landed on zero, and everyone scattered like bugs.

You decided to snipe up at the highest point of the course where no one could see you. From there you saw Shane and Ryan together of course taking out most of the producers and editors, the lady like crew and try guys split up. You saw Devin and Kristin shoot each other and get out, you saw Zach and Eugene shoot at one another...Zach was shot and eliminated and Shane and Ryan were still in.

You saw Keith and Ned against each other and...Ned was on his knees you could hear what they were saying.

"Keith please there's got to be another way, we can figure this out together"

"I'm sorry Ned this is the only way"

Keith proceeded to shoot Ned so you shot keith. He looked shocked but shrugged and walked over to the bar to get something to drink. Taking another look around you saw Eugene go after Jen, Jen shot eugene, you shot Jen.

"Sorry Jen nothing personal"

"I know (y/n) avenge me even though you shot me"

"Will do love"

Taking another look you saw that all the try guys, and lady like crew had been eliminated. Which left Shane, Ryan, some other people not many, and yourself.

You shot anyone who came into your view until you realized that you could see Ryan but no Shane. It hit you suddenly he was coming after you, you ducked low and waited for him to get near.

When he finally came close enough you shot him and he was out.

"Sh*t (y/n) that was sick, and scared me a little I almost had a heart attack"

You both laughed, Shane walked over to the rest of the people who were watching, which meant it left you and Ryan left. And you weren't going to loose to him or anyone, not yet at least.

You knew that neither of you would move from your spots so you made the first move literally and figuratively and started your search for him, making sure to keep your gun raised, steps soft, body ducked, and to check behind you every once in awhile.

Finding a new spot and placing yourself there, you listened closely blocking out everyone around you, you used your senses more than ever, your eyes trained on the course and ears straining to listen for his steps. You looked around and saw everyone watching, some where cheering for you.

You closed your eyes blocking out the sound and sights around you. Until you heard it finally, the rapid rise and fall of his shoes coming around the corner. You closed your eyes trying to lure him in and you waited like that until he turned and saw you.

"I'm sorry it has to end this way (y/n) but it's just us left...And I don't see any other way out"

You smirked.

"No ryan I'm sorry"

You opened your eyes and to see confusion spread across his face.

"What—?"

And before another word could fly from his mouth you turned and shot him in the chest watching as the plate light went from green to red.

There was silence for a couple of seconds before you realized that everyone still had their eyes trained on you, after a few seconds everyone started cheering as loud as they could and ran over to you to congratulate you. Shane lifted you onto his shoulder, you squealed before laughing and cheering with everyone else.

Jen started chanting your name and soon everyone followed, and Shane put you back into the ground, you walked up to Ryan and playfully punched him in the shoulder.

"You did give me a run for my money dude, I'll give you that. And you definitely aren't a bad player"

"Thanks (y/n) that was fun and...scary but only just a little only because you move at the speed of light, but I'd definitely play against you any day. Rematch?"

"Sure bet you can't beat me"

"Your on"

So the rest of the time you were allowed to be there everyone played laser tag, it went on for hours.

Let's just say that you won every time.

So I actually had a lot of fun writing this and the Keith and Ned part actually came from a prompt I found, so I decided to make it a laser tag one and I actually laughed while writing this.
