Shane- can't sleep?

You couldn't close your eyes. You never have been able to, that was until you met Shane. He held you in his arms like no one else has or could, he made you feel tired. Tired and safe, he personality could be draining, and sometimes hard to keep up with. You thanked the angels above, feeling drained helped you sleep.

Having insomnia made life difficult and a pain in the ass. But being around Shane and Ryan  made life fun, comfortable, and tiring. The boys had the energy of 6 four year old kids.

Being in Shane's arms made you feel invincible, like you could take on the world. But you actually really couldn't, your brain never ceased to keep you awake with intrusive thoughts, and harmful ideas and statements. Tonight those intrusive thoughts, and nightmarish ideas had gotten to you.

You were running, You ran until your legs ached, lungs throbbed, and your mouth was parched. Still the black mass trailing you pursued even more. It lunged and knocked you into an area that looked like a room of some sort.

A vibrant, blinding light was switched on, a spot light of sorts. Inside the room stood your friends, family, and loved ones. All hanging off the ground with a rope secured neatly around their necks. They all hung limp swinging aimlessly. You took a step back and covered your mouth with your hands, feeling tears pour down your cheeks at a rapid rate.

You removed your hands after feeling a substance place itself on your cheeks, mixing with the transparent drops. You looked down and found them plastered in a deep crimson liquid. Blood. You looked back at everyone in the room, only to see they were already staring at me.

They all spoke in unison.

"You could've saved us (y/n) why didn't you save us?"

"I'm...I'm sorry"

"Why didn't you come back and save us? YOU COULD HAVE SAVED US"

You bolted up right panting, heaving for gasps and breathes, feeling tears pour down your face. You wiped at them hastily and looked down to make sure it was only tears on the back of your hand instead of blood. You looked around making sure you were still in bed and that a special someone was still next to you. Shane hadn't moved and inch since you went to sleep, it always made you wonder how he could sleep so deeply and especially at all the places he and Ryan visit.

You threw the covers off yourself as gently as you could without waking Shane. Little did you know that he was already awake not being able to sleep from all your tossing and whimpering. You sprinted to your bathroom and threw up the contents of your stomach. The image of your loved ones hanging by ropes, and feeling the blood on your face made you vomit.

After flushing the toilet and brushing your teeth you went to the kitchen for a glass of water, grabbed a jacket and walked out to sit on the balcony from your room. It was slightly chilly but it helped keep you awake. You couldn't afford to fall asleep again, not after what your brain made you go through.

You just sat there sipping your water and enjoying the busy night life of LA when Shane plopped down into the chair next to you. He scared you a little.

"pretty isn't it?"

"Very"

"Couldn't sleep again?"

"No"

"Want to talk about it?"

"No"

"Ok but if you do want to talk about it you can tell me"

"I know"

"Come on"

"What?"

"Come on let's go back inside"

"Shane I just said I wasn't tired"

"Well to bad we're gonna make a fort in the living room and binge Netflix until you feel tired, whether you like it or not"

You didn't do anything but sigh and stand up. Making your way back inside you placed your glass on the counter and helped Shane gather blankets and pillows for your fort, he even let you pick the show you wanted to watch.

You did eventually fall asleep in his arms, safe and invincible like always.

So that was rushed but I ran out of inspiration half way through oop—
This one sucked ass honestly.
