Chapter 36 Zion' meeting with Kaitlin

Jade's POV

Galit na galit ang mukha ni Zion ng makita ko. His eyes were piercing on me deeply, penetrating my soul. He could swallow me whole with the kind of look on his face. Everyone was looking at him at us here in the office. By now, people will start speculating with all the interactions that I have with Zion and his family. Iniiwasan ko mang magkaroon sila ng pag uusapan. I guess hindi ko na ito maiiwasan pa katulad ngayon. Wala na rin akong may magawa pa kundi ang sumunod kay Zion.

His leap were big but I tried to equal it with mine. Parang hinigal ako ng makarating kami ng elevator. He is still at rage he could not looked my way. I got this notion in my head, why he get so mad and furious this time. For sure it is about Kaitlin. He knows about Kaitlin! I have to face whatever rage or anger he will throw against me. I've been a coward that long but I face life bravely. I emerge to be strong and independent. Able to raise my child by myself. He closed the door with a loud bang. I thought my eardrums were damaged because of that. "Tell me why you hide my daughter from me?!" His voice so loud reverberating in the four corners of the room. It sounded both a question and a command. He is trying to control his temper. He turned his back at me with his hands on the pockets of his trousers.

Bigla akong natakot sa inasta ni Zion. I have never seen him this mad before. I got so nervous. I was fidgetting with my fingers. He was raging with so much anger and I was so nervous how could I find the right words to explain.

"Why? Why did you do this to me?!" He said as he punch the wall of the office. I got so scared and run towards his back and hugged him. "Answer me!" He demanded as he release my hand wrapping on him. His back still turned. He was breathing heavily.

I did not moved a bit. "Because I love you! It is for your own good!" Ang sagot ko pa sa tanong niya ng buong tapang. I could not be afraid this time.

Tumawa ito ng buong pang uuyam at pang iinsulto. "Do not include me in your selfishness! I almost died, ready to die when you left me. But here you are, living happily with my daughter. You did an unforgivable lie." Uttered Zion with the voice full of hatred.

I could understand his anger. I have to be patient. I was told by Chase and his parents na matagal bago naka recover si Zion sa pag alis ko. Hindi ko na rin mapigilan ang emosyon ko. "I'm sorry Zion. Pinagsisihan ko ang mga maling desisyon na ginawa ko." Ang sabi ko pa dito na pilit na pinapa tatag ang boses.

He turned towards me holding me in both of my shoulders. "Your sorry is not enough! It would not bring back the time that I have lost rearing my child! You are so disgusting for doing this to me!" Ang galit pa na sabi ni Zion sa akin.

Napatingin ako sa kanya. He has still the most handsome person I have ever seen. Despite of his anger. "Zion, please... patawarin mo naman ako. Please, I love you!" Ang bulalas ko pa sa kanya.

Napahalakhak pa si Zion sa sinabi ko. "You have fooled me once, twice. I am a fool to believe in you but not this time! You have promised me child after the death of Nate. Pero anong ginawa mo? Niloko mo lang ako!" Ang sabi pa nito sa akin sa boses na puno ng pang aakusa.

I hugged him again. "I'm so sorry if you feel that way. If you will give me a chance. I will show you how much I love you!" Ang sabi ko pa dito.

"Oh please! Tama na ang lokohan." He said as he removed my hands that's hugging him na para bang may isa akong nakakahawang sakit. "We have been given too many chances. It did not worked for us. Now, just tell me how can I have my daughter!" Ang utos pa nito sa akin.

I got frantic by his commands. I could not let him take Kaitlin away from me. My nightmare began when Zion uttered those words. "Hindi ko naman itatago sayo si Kaitlin. You can visit her anytime." Ang sabi ko pa dito sa naginginig na na boses.
