Roni POV
We have no idea what's going on. The boys went in to find out what's wrong and they never came back. It's only been like five minutes but I'm worried. I have so many questions. Are Alex and Lauren ok? What about Adrian and Asher? Why haven't Aaron and Kian come back yet?" I grab my phone and call Aaron. No answer. I start to get even more worried.

"I'm going in" I say

"Wait what! No just wait five more minutes. Let's see if they come out then. If not we're calling the cops" she says

"Fine but only five more minutes" those five minutes seem like an hour. Finally Kian comes out.

"Everything is Fine. Well, not really. He's still crying and it doesn't seem like he's hurt. The kids aren't hurt either. All that we know is that he has a slip of paper that says I can't do this anymore and it's signed by Lauren" he says

"Oh, this sounds like it's bad." Nessa says

"What do you need us to do?" I ask. I immediately want to get all hands on deck. From the amount of situations I've been in, I know that it's good to access the situation as quickly as possible so that we can straight things out and get people the help that they need.

"Can you guys get the kids? As soon as we figure out what's going on we'll let you guys know. The police might have to be called"

"Are you sure she left? It could be what happened to us. She could've been framed" I say

"We'll keep that in mind ok. If it is that we're definitely going to have to call the police. If one of y'all can text from his phone and say that party is canceled that would be great"

"On it" Nessa says. She hurry me to Alex and Lauren's room and finds his phone. She tries to get in it.

"The password is 123456" Aaron says "I told him to change it but he doesn't listen" I quickly go to Adrian and Asher's rooms. I have all five kids all in the same room. To double check I do a head count.

"What's going on?" Adrian asks. I don't know what to say because I don't know what's going on either.

"Nothing buddy, who wants to watch some TV?" I ask. I try to deflect the situation. I put on the TV and pull out some toys. "I'll be right back ok" I get a consecutive yes from all the kids and I hurry to Nessa.

"Let's switch. I think I know how to get Alex to calm down and talk" I say.

"Got it" She says and goes in the room with the kids. I come up to Alex.

"Ok, I know you don't want to talk, but we gotta know what's going on. Take a deep breath through your nose and let it out of your mouth" he obliges and does it a couple times. "Now what's up?" I say

"S-she left for grocery and never came back. I saw her packing earlier today and asked what it was for. She brushed me off and said that it was just for the trip we're going on to Canada. She's been off recently. She just left. All I did was find this note. I thought she loved me" he says

"Hey look, it's going to be ok. I understand that your hurting, we're going to help you through that. Do you think she voluntarily left or was there some other motive?" Aaron asks and offer his hand out to help her up.

"I don't know. She just been off. She's separated herself from me and the kids and she just seemed unhappy"

"Ok, we're still going to call the police just to make sure. Are you ok with that?" I ask

"Yeah"he says

"Take your time. Once your ready get cleaned up. Nessa's watching the kids. I'm sure they want to see you. We'll take care of stuff until you're ready" Aaron says. Alex nods. He sniffles his tears as Kian dials the polices number. I go into the room with Nessa and the kids.

"You're back!" Adrian says. It makes me sad knowing that he might never have his biological mom back in his life again, but I put a smile on my face for him. He deserves that.

"I told you I would be" I say. I text Nessa and update her on everything. She suggests that we should take the kids out of the house so they can get away from the chaos, especially because the police are coming. I agree. She makes her way down stairs with the kids and I let Aaron and Kian know that we're going away. They think it's a great idea. I hope in the car on the passengers side since I know the most information about the situation between Nessa and I. Sitting on the passenger side ensures that I can text and stuff safely.

"Who want ice cream?" Nessa says. I can tell that she's trying to hide the situation too.

"Meee!" All the kids say. We drive to an ice cream shop not knowing what that next text is going to say or whose future it's going to predict. I don't know which side is better, involuntarily or not. I honestly can't say they either one is good. I don't t know if she'll ever come back and I don't know if that good or bad either. All I know is that this family is going through a world wind of pain and that they're going to need help. Lots of it. They're going to need a lot to get through it and make it out happily. It's going to be hard work just getting them there and although we can't relate to their struggles, we're going to be the ones to help them through it.
