Chapter 30: Vi The Fashionista

We finished a butt load of designs recently. They've been noticed. Awhile back we were invited to New York Fashion Week so that's where we're going. Nessa and I are flying out to New York today and we're just going to explore around a little tomorrow. Then we have a couple things that we have to do on the business side before we to fashion shows. This should be fun. We love New York Fashion week and it gives us a lot of ideas about the upcoming style. We get inspired and ready to make our clothes and start producing more of them for our supporters. It's always been a fun and good experience.

We have all our bags packed but we're still deciding on one outfit. It has to match but differ with each other's. We can't make up our mind on what we want to wear. I'm trying to decided between clothes when Aaron walks in with Vi in his hands.

"Babe, what should I wear?" I ask him. He looks at my closet and picks out horizontal and vertical strips. That definitely doesn't go together.

"This is cute" he says and holds up the outfit.

"Stripes like that don't go together, you know that"

"You also know not to ask me for fashion advice" he responds

"Touché" I tell him. I'm still racking my brain for an outfit when Vi speaks up.

"Mama I think you wear this one, with this, this, and your hair like Cinderella" She says. She's pointing to to the dress I wore when Aaron proposed, some diamond studded shoes, a diamond necklace, and a diamond crown. I put it all together and it looks perfect. Nessa has a dress just like this in pink with gold accessories.

"That's perfect Vi!" I say. She smiles and Aaron looks at us like we're crazy. I rush to go show Nessa.

"Look!" I say. She looks at the outfit.

"Cute but we have enough out-, OH YOU MEAN FOR MATCHING. YOUR'E A GENUIS" She says and snatches up her outfit.

"How'd you come up with this?" She questions.

"I didn't, Vi did" I shrug.

"Yes! We have another little fashionista in the house" she exclaims. I go and get Vi out of Aaron's hands and bring her to Nessa.

"You're a genius Violet!" She says

"Genus?" Vi repeats. I crack up.

"Genius means you're really smart" Nessa tells her. Vi nods her head and starts repeating the word. I think she like the word. She takes a look in Nessa's closet and picks out an outfit for her today. She picks out a snug, ripped crop top that is off the shoulder with a pair of white jeans and white high top sneakers.

"Cute!" She says

"Can you pick out mama's outfit?" I ask her. She nods her head yes. She looks in my closet and picks out a tight fitting t-shirt dress that's off the shoulders. It's the dress version of what Nessa has on. She tops it off with a necklace that Aaron brought me that she helped pick out.

"I like it" I say. She claps. I give her a kiss on the cheek and let her down to go play and I get dressed. She comes back in to watch me do my makeup. She always likes watching me do it. Sometimes she'll pick up a brush and pretend to do what I do. I always give her a little moisturizing primer on her brush so that she can feel like she's doing something and at the end we out in lip gloss together. She's memorized the steps I go in so that she knows when to put on the lipgloss and when to put the brush in certain places. I think it's so cute. I'm thinking about making a video of us doing our makeup. A lot of people have noticed what she does when I record myself getting ready. They especially noticed it when I made my morning routine video with the twins and Aaron. They thought it was really cute. People were making edits left and right and tagging it as #couplegoals. They always use the part where Aaron, Vi, Vinny, and I are all at the sink brushing our teeth in sync. I love how much our fans support us and that they look up to us. It makes me feel good and that's one of the reasons why I keep making videos. I love making other people happy and putting a smile on their faces.

We head back downstairs where Aaron is teaching Vinny to play basketball on his little hoop. He's been enjoying it because he sees Kian, Alex, and Aaron play and he wanted to join. They look up when they hear us walking downstairs.

"Oh, I like the outfit" Aaron says

"Thank you, your daughter picked it out"

"Good pick Vi"

"Show dada your lipgloss" I say. Me and her blow a kiss.

"Awww, look at my girls" He says and picks up Vi. "I love the lipgloss but don't wear for little boys ok. You don't need a boyfriend yet" he says. She nods her head.

"Mama looks pretty" Vinny says.

"Thank you bud" I tell him and give him a kiss on the cheek. He smiles. He tries to teach Vi what Aaron just taught him. It's cute, but the only problem is that Vinny is not to good at it yet and it's hard to teach someone something that you don't know to well I record it on my phone. They're growing up right in front of my eyes. I don't want my babies to get to old. I'm going to miss these days. The days that they're just discovering their talents and what they want to do. I'm going to miss them relying on us and trying new things because that's all they know. I just going to miss Vinny's nice little comments, them learning new words, giving them kisses on the cheek, then learning new things, and their cute little hugs. I just going to enjoy the days that I have with my little fashionista and athlete.
