Chapter 51: Opening Day Nerves

Tomorrow is the opening day for Trueimg! I'm so proud of Roni and Nessa for doing this. They've worked so hard to get here and they finally have their own store. The opening of the store is great and all but it's presenting some challenges. There is a lot that needs to be done. We still have to make sure that everything is hung up, workers are ready, and just to make sure that everything is ready to go.

This morning I reset Roni's alarm so that she can sleep an extra hour. I picked up all the duties that she normally does. Since I'm at the gym in the morning I don't normally take care of the twins in the morning. I just want to make sure that Roni can put all her attention to the store and doesn't have to worry about anything. I just want to be a help while I'm here.

We all have to get hair, makeup, and styling to do this morning. Even the kids and the dogs have stuff like that. I take the dogs out and let them and the twins run. I know that it's good for them to get a little bit of energy out but not be to tired. I feed them breakfast and feed the dogs their food. I give the twins a bath and dress them in some comfortable clothes. We drop the dogs off the get groomed and then we head back home to pick up everyone else. By the time that we came back to pick them up they were all showered and ready to go get ready for the photoshoot. I drop them off there and go to pick up my family from the airport. I pick up Paul and Wendy, and finally I pick up the dogs. We all head up to the photoshoot.

There is a lot going on at the photoshoot. There's people running and ripping trying to find outfits for people. Hair and makeup is matching the right shades of different people. It's a little hectic but it has to happen.

Paul, Wendy, Mom, and Dad are up for the shoot first. I think that it's really nice that Roni and Nessa want our parents to be in the shoot. After they go up, Andrew goes up. Some of his friends that live here in Cali cane and offered to model. They were all having fun with the clothes. The kids model the kids line. The end shot is where Asher is sitting in the middle, Vi and Vinny are kneeling on both knees with their arms around him, Rebel and Adrian put their hand in their shoulders while standing up, and Malaya has her arms wrapped around both Rebel and Adrian's shoulders. It's like a little a little triangle of cuteness. The dogs go up. We just coax them with treats. They completely take their attention off of the the outfits that they have on. They are comfy outfits, but they're dogs and they just don't want to wear them. Lastly we go up. The girls are wearing their outfits of choice. They're hair is in its each individual style and they're wearing two completely different outfits. They don't look like twins for once and it's strange. We pose all with each other. Everyone starts coming in as we take group pictures. It's over after and hour and thirty minutes.

"Thank you guys so much for attending the shoot" Nessa says

"You guys are really helping this project go through and we couldn't think you more" Roni says

"And don't forget that you have a lifetime supply worth of Trueimg" Nessa adds. We get a group Uber to send everyone but Roni, Nessa, Alex, and I to the house. We're working on everything here and between the store. I can see both of them kind of stressing. With Roni being the good sister she is, she tells Nessa to sit down because stress isn't good for the baby. After awhile of this I can see Roni kind of getting stressed. Kian kind of catches my drift.

"Nessa, can you show me where to put this?" He asks

"Sure!" She gladly volunteers and shows him where a box of stuff in it. I pull Roni outside.

"Take a deep breath in and out" I say when she gets fresh air.

"Aaron, I'm fine. I'm making it through" She tried to brush me off.

"No you're not. I can tell that you're on a verge of an anxiety attack" I reassure her. "You got this. Take a deep breath and relax, I'll be here every step of the way" I instructor. She follows it.

"Thank you" She says and gives me a kiss on to cheek. She gets back to working and I help her with whatever I can. She greatly appreciated it. All hands are on deck with everything and we head to the store it get the employees ready to work.

Everything looks amazing. It's starting to dim down a little outside so you can really see how the building lights up. There's a line pits side the door. It so good to see the twins fans. I love that they light people's worlds up as mush as the light up ours. Roni and Nessa both look nervously at the locked doors. They give each other a pep talk and they hug it out. We all hold hands and pray over everything and we talk it other through it. The twins walk to the locker door and place their hands on the locks. They hesitate to open the door. They look back at us and we nod.

"Ready?" The ask each other. They look at each other and shake their heads aggressively yes. We watch as they take a deep breath and turn the lock. It clicks open. They take a deep breath and put their hand on the door bar that's covered with butter flies

"1....2....3"
