Chapter 26: Sunset

Roni POV
In the midst of all this Alex still has his trip to Canada. I'm confused on if he has told him that he and Lauren are no longer. He hasn't told his family yet. I wonder if she had even told her parents. It's all a confusing situation but I hope it works out for the better.

Aaron has been trying to spend as much time with us before his script reading. He knows that once he starts that he's going to to be busy. Vi and Vinny both want to be superheroes now that they found out that Aaron's going to be one. I think it's hilarious and cute. They run around trying to save the day. Vi isn't as invested in it as Vinny. Vinny really thinks he's Superman. We even had to buy him a costume.

I've been loving spending time with my family and seeing the twins antics, but I have some work to do. Nessa and I really need to pump these new TrueImg designs out. They've been under demand recently. We also have to meet with corporate office so that we can work on an idea. They're thinking about letting us open a store. Our very own store. I think it's so cool that we can do that. It's always been my dream to design clothes and now I have the potential to have a store with my best friend that also shares my dream. There's a lot happening right now. Everyone's dreams seem to be coming true.

The twins lay down for a nap and that's my free time. Kian and Nessa are out visiting his family with Rebel. I watch a little bit of TV and then I open my notebook. I doodle a little bit as I tend to do. Aaron pops in the doorway.

"Wanna talk?" He asks. I miss our little weekly talks. Those were always nice. It would prevent us from having arguments and they would always make us fall in love with each other a little bit more.

"Of course" I say. He takes my hand and we walk outside to the patio.

"Do you miss these talks?" I ask

"Definitely. That's why I asked you" he says

"So what's the topic?"

"I don't know. I feel like we've been on a schedule and following stuff a lot now, let's just go free" he says

"I feel like it's our dream season. You got a role that is amazing, Nessa and I are working on getting a store. Good things are happening"

"Maybe it's our time to shine"

"That doesn't worry you?" I ask

"Yeah. I was so worried when I got that role, but life has to move on. You're right though, the only thing that happens after good is bad. It's scary but I don't think that we should go there. It's only going to make situations worse." He says

"You're right. I'm just scared. It's just strange to have so many good things happening. I just don't want it to all come crashing down. All the stuff that happened to us before all led to this, but does that mean that what's happening now is going to lead to another situation like that."

"I don't know. I just know that whatever life has in store is ok because I have you right here. I know we can make it through." He says. I look down at our fingers intertwined. He still make me feel like it's our first date. I lean in and give him a kiss.

"You know I love you right?" I say

"How could I forget?" I rest my head on his shoulder and he lays his head on top of mine.

"I'm going to miss this when I'm working" He says

"Me too, but it's so cool that you got your dream job. I promise you that we'll make time as a family to hang out and we'll make some time for each other" I say and trace patterns into his hand. I could stay like this forever. All I need is my family. I shouldn't worry about what my future is going to hold because I know that I'll be with the best people. whatever comes my way, I know that I'll be helped along the way.

"What're thinking about?" Aaron says as he rubs his hands through my hair.

"Nothing, just how I know I'm going be ok." I sigh

"You make me soft" He says to me

"My heart" I say. I look up at him and kiss his cheek. I hear little footsteps behind me. Before I can turn around to see what it is, I feel a little tug on my pants leg. It's Vi. I left her up as she curls up in my lap. Vinny comes up to Aaron and crawls up his leg. He gets comfortable in his lap. They both cuddled up in their cute pajamas and hugging their stuffed animals. They look adorable. Vi starts playing with my hand. Aaron's is beside mines. Vinny starts playing with his. Vi puts her hand on Aaron's. The size difference is adorable. Even Vinny's hands are bigger then hers. She wraps her hand around his finger. Vinny is sitting so that he's kind of hugging Vi. Out of no where she says, "I love you mama, dada, and Vinny" my heart melts.

"I love you Vi, Dada, and Mama" Vinny follows. My heart doesn't even exist at this point. Aaron looks at me and I poke my bottom lip out.

"I love you too Vi and Vinny" I say

"I love all of you" Aaron says and wraps his arm around all of us and pulls us into a hug. I melt into his arms. Vi's soft sigh completes me as I give her a kiss on the forehead. We sit just like that and watch the sunset. I don't know which view is more beautiful, the one in the sky or the one right here on earth.
