Chapter 41: Exciting News

Aaron POV
When I get home I place my bag down. I'm super tired. So much has been done in this last month that it's crazy. We're actually getting to film in the next upcoming week or two, which is great but it just adds more work on to my load.

The house seems so empty. The twins are sleeping and Rebel is hanging out at a friend house. Where's Roni and Nessa? I peek inside our room and their not there. I peek my head inside every room until find them. They're in Nessa's room sitting on the bed. Nessa looks like she's been crying and she's holding something that looks like a flashdrive in her hand.

"What did I miss?" I ask. Nessa looks up and holds up the flashdrive. It's way too long to be an actual flash drive. I squint my eyes to see it better

"Is that a pregnancy test?" I ask. They both nod. "Which one of you is pregnant?" I further question

"I am" Nessa speaks up with a smile on her face. I take a mental sigh of relief. Don't get me wrong, I love Vi and Vinny more than I love life itself, but i don't think Roni and I are ready yet. We both have a lot of stuff going on work wise, so I don't think it would be a wise decision to have anymore kids just yet.

"Congrats!" I say and give Nessa a hug. I know she's going to be a great mom again. I can tell by the way that reacted to keeping Asher that she wanted another child. She has been talking about how cute Roni and Vi's relationship is, so we knew she wants a girl. I know she's happy and I hope she has the girl that she wants.

"Does Kian know?' I ask

"Not yet, that's what we're doing now. Nessa wants to find a cool way to surprise him with the news" Roni responds

"Please don't tell me I have to keep a secret. You know how bad I am at that and how much I hate it" I complain

"Don't worry Mr. Innocent, you won't have to keep it a secret. We'll have it ready by the time he gets back from filming" Nessa jokes

"I leave you guys too it, after all you only have thirty minutes until he gets here"

"We know!" they say in unison and I close the door behind me as I leave. I turn on the monitor in the twins room because of their schedule, I think they'll be waking up soon. I do some editing. It makes me smile to see that Roni has edited some of the video. She knows how busy I am and she took time out of her day to help me. Could I be married to anyone better? I ask myself that question everyday because of how much she does for me. I finish that up and make myself an the twins a snack. I hear some rustling on the monitor. Someone must be up. It's most likely Vinny, he gets up early so he can go adventure. Vi takes after her mother and likes to sleep in. I don't blame her. Judging by the amount of stuff they both do during the day, they must be tired. I go upstairs and get Vinny so he won't wake up Vi. He still a little groggy. He sits and kind of blankly stares at the wall. All his reactions are kind of delayed. I'll give him a some time to get himself together.

I'm excited to see Kian's reaction to finding out he's going to be a dad again. He really likes being a dad and experiencing things with Rebel. I bet he's going to like doing that with two kids even better. It's a little difficult having two kids but its definitely a joy worth having.

Vinny is finally all the way awake. I give him a snack and eat with him at the table as he converse about his day. Roni and I always talk about our days like this so he started mimicking us. I thought it was super cute. Vi gets up and eats snacks. She doesn't talk but she just nods her head at questions.

Kian is finally home. He does his little handshake that he does with all the kids. A smile runs from ear to ear on my face. Not because of the handshake, because of the news Kian is about to get. I hear some footsteps. The girls must have figured out the surprise at that Kian was here.

"Welcome back" Nessa says and gives Kian a quick hug a smooch. Kian looks a little confused because that's not something Nessa usually says.

"Ok, how was everyone's day?" He asks

"Good" we all respond

"Mine was amazing because I got all my work done and now im chore free" he says. I'm anticipating what's going to happen next. Even I don't know the setup of the surprise.

"I would kill to be chore free. Right now my main chore is to get some clothes for the twins, they're running low" Roni says. I see her nudge Nessa with her foot. I know where this is going now.

"Speaking of clothes, Kian how do you like this new shirt I got Rebel?" Nessa asks. Kian looks at it. It say big brother with cars running under the bottom.

"It's cool, but...WAIT!" He says "Does this mean?" Nessa nods her head yes before he can finish. I look at the camera and do a quick thumbs up. I had to record this moment, I mean how could you not?

"OH MY GOD, NO WAY!' he says and picks Nessa up and spins her around. They're both crying now.

"I can't believe this!'

"I just found out today and I was just as shocked as you are" She says

"We have to put this shirt on Rebel ASAP" He says

"Slight problem, It's Adrian's" She says. We all laugh. I'm happy for them.
