Chapter 24: Lead Role

It's been a hectic month with the birthdays and the whole meet up thing but their month is our relax month. Our work flow goes back to normal and at the end of the month we have fun with Halloween.

At the end of last month Aaron had an audition. It was for a super hero role. (Guys I don't know a lot of superheroes and I know this is not a real character in marvel but it has to go with the story) He plays a doctor by day and a superhero by night. He sort of just blowed off the role. I haven't heard him talk about it in awhile so I guess it's over with.

Nessa and I have recently gotten a sponsorship from Too Faced. We have a couple things to shoot for them. We love all of their makeup especially because it's scented. We start our video. We push our hair back with the hair bands that they gave us. We ask for some help from Aaron, Kian, Vi, Vinny, and Rebel. Since they supplied us with some of their skin care stuff it's safe to put it on the kids and the boys won't mind it. We're going to make the video sped up so this is going to look like nothing. The boys pop their heads around our shoulders and the kids sit in our laps as we put the skin care products on. They jump out of the frame and we finish doing our makeup for the camera. Every product that we use we stop and show the camera in the way that people on Instagram do. (I don't know how else to describe it 😂) We finally finish the video and put it on our to do list to edit or have one of the boys help us edit it. We clean up our stuff and meet everyone else outside.

"My face smells good" Rebel says to Nessa. It makes us laugh. We see Vinny trying to lick the chocolate scent on his hands because he Thanks it's going to taste like what it smells like.

"Vinny stop licking your hand!" Aaron calls out. Vi is letting guppy lick her hands that smell like peaches.

"Everyone stop licking the moisturizer. It doesn't taste like it smells" I yell out. The kids shrug and go back to playing.

It only gets slightly cold in LA during fall so it's not to cold outside. That means the kids can play all they want without worrying about a jacket. They seem like they never get tired. Guppy and Moose on the other hand do. Guppy pants heavily and gets a sip of water from his water bowl outside. He lays right by Aaron feet and gets ready to go to sleep. I pick him up and pet him while he falls asleep. Moose joins soon after. Soon the kids complain that they're getting hungry. We take them in to wash their hands and to have some lunch. I was bored yesterday so I prepared some things to make to make some Açaí bowls at home. I throw on what kids ask for on them and give it to them. It's like ice cream to them. It's a good way to cool them down and give them a sweet treat that's not bad for them.

"Of course I didn't forget about you two" I tell the dogs. I give them some frozen watermelon cube that they can eat to cool down. I go back to the kitchen and it looks like the adults are enjoying the bowls more than the kids are. We all finish a quick and healthy lunch.

After lunch we try to get some work done. This means the kids to. Rebel And Adrian are starting preschool soon so Alex, Nessa, and Kian have been trying to work on their skills.

"Ok Rebel And Adrian, time for spelling" Nessa says. She sits down with them on the floor and starts working with them. They have fun doing it because she makes sure not to bore them. Vi and Vinny used to feel left out but I try to teach them colors and the alphabet. They work on trying to color inside the lines in a coloring book. Asher looks at us happily because he doesn't have to do any work. He starting to try and babble some words. He's also really anxious to start crawling. Alex gives him his bottle because he starts to get fussy.

Everyone's being productive. Kian is our running errands and shooting a video with Jc. Nessa and working with the toddlers. I'm working with the twins. Alex is trying to get Asher to go to sleep and Aaron is editing. We have a quick time lapse running in the background for the next video. Aaron starts getting some house work done when I remember that the mailbox needs checking.

"Aaron can you go get the mail out of the mailbox?" I ask

"On it" He says. He comes in with a stack of mail.

"What is it?" Alex asks. I think he's still looking for a letter from Lauren.

"Just bills on bills on bills" Aaron says. "It's a lot marketing stuff in here too. Anyone looking to buy an off brand Gucci bag for a low payment of 10.99 a month?" He jokes. Everyone says that they'll pass. He sorts out everyone's mail. Alex finally gets Asher to sleep and he goes to lay him in his crib. The kids finish what they're working on and go upstairs to play with their toys. I turn in the TV for them and let them have fun with each other. They're all bound to get tired soon. Aaron gets back in his computer and checks his email so that all his mail will be out of the way. He organizes everything. That's when I see his face light up.

"What is it?" I ask. Alex comes down the stairs. Nessa looks up from what she's doing.

"Guys, I got the role" he says
