She quietly hummed a song while walking down the street. She was obviously feeling nervous as she had planned to tell him everything today.
It has been three years since they became friends and there were fights and make ups that happened.
They often fought because of little things and they'd often say sorry to each other within a minimum of 5 days.
They were the bestest of friends.
"Gguk." she whispered and he turned around, smiling.
She then smiled back and sat beside him, crossing her legs. She glanced around the park and pouted.
"No banana milk today?"
With a cheeky smile, he answered, "I just finished it."
After a few minutes of just talking, she decided onto making a move.
"Jeon, I actually wanted to say something to you."
"What is it?" he turned towards her and she felt her heart accelerating.
"I-I like- I mean I-I love you." she slightly shouted and breathed heavily.
She watched as his eyes widen for a minute before it turned into sad ones. He sighed and closed his eyes for a second before opening them again.
"Y-Y/N, I'm sorry but I don't love you." he whispered and she felt her heart break. "I'm sorry."
"Why?" she whispered back, tears falling. "Is it because of her?"
He kept silent, eyes on the ground and lip in between his teeth.
"Is it because of her jungkook?!" she shouted and he flinched. "Jungkook-"
"Yes! It is because of her!" he shouted, his own tears falling. "I still love her and you know that!"
She scoffed. "It's been five years jungkook! Move on!" she shouted, standing up and heart hurting. "She's been dead for five years! Please! Don't trap yourself in the past!!"
"I'm not! I still love her and you can't stop that!"
"No! I can! But you just won't let me because you're locking your heart up!"
"If you could just let me enter your heart and open it again..." she trailed off. "I would."
"Because I love you."
