present — past

Jungkook wasn't really the type of person to be so hateful. But when it was her, he was always mad. He only wanted revenge. He felt no love for her anymore. Instead, he felt hatred. Nothing but hatred.

She walked down the stairs, still in her cute pajamas. Jungkook watched with a cold expression as she smiled.

She didn't really care. The memory of the old jungkook remained, and that was all she was holding onto. She believed that he'd change. That he'd be who he was before the accident

"Jungkook I'll drive." he hesitated, but when he saw the anticipation in her eyes, he nodded.

"Okay sure."

"You going to work?" she asked.

He rolled his eyes, standing up and placing his coffee mug on the sink. "Obviously."

Jungkook felt an unknown feeling of nervousness as he watched her drive. He looked behind, seeing his parents calmly talking at the back of the car.

Suddenly, a screech was heard and he felt his head painfully bang on the glass.

And then, he blacked out.

Her smile faded as he passed her, intentionally bumping on her shoulder. The door slammed shut and she sighed, once again feeling empty.

She didn't know anymore. She didn't know if she could hold on longer. She was beginning to give up.

She headed to the kitchen, eyes producing salty tears as she cried. She was here again, emotionally hurting herself. She began preparing his lunch, not even bothering to make breakfast for herself

She was still crying her heart out as she drove towards his building. The mere memory of the past haunting her once again.

"It's your fault!" he shouted. "If you weren't so persistent to drive the fucking car then my parents would've still been here."

"You should've been the one to die."

Before she stepped out the car, she looked at herself in the mirror as she sobbed. She closed her eyes, not feeling well at all.

After calming down, she stepped out the car, his packed lunch in hand as she confidently walked towards the building.

"NO! PLEASE SIR CALM DOWN!" she heard a scream. "PLEASE PUT DOWN THE GUN!"

Y/N's brows furrowed and she ran. As she reached the front of jungkook's office, her eyes widened as she saw an unknown guy pointing his gun out towards jungkook.

"You deserve to die." As he lightly pressed the trigger, she gasped, heart beating so fast as she unhesitatingly ran in front of him, tears once again streaming down her delicate face.

"No!"

Gasps erupted throughout the whole room as he finally pulled the trigger, the bullet quickly piercing through her skin.

But she wasn't able to hear it. She was numb. She looked down, eyes landing onto the blood slowly oozing out just below her chest.

"Y/N!" she collapsed, sobbing from the pain she though she didn't feel. "No!"

Jungkook fell to his knees, grasping her fragile body. His tears fell as he saw her state.

"Please! Call an ambulance!" he begged. "Stay with me love. Please."

She painfully smiled, finding it hard to breath. "Don't worry." she reached up, slowly caressing his cheek.

"This is nothing compared to the pain I've given you."

"No, no, I CANT LOSE YOU TOO PLEASE."

She closed her eyes with falling tear as he cradled her, crying. He kissed her forehead as paramedics rushed in to get her.

She watched as her vision continued to get blurrier each passing second. He watched as jungkook ran along with the stretcher you were in.

She watched as he cried. Like he never did before. She watched as he regretted everything he did to you.
