Your a Cop Part 2

Summary: You are a Police Officer of the Lodi PD, have been for the last five years. While looking through your mothers things after she died you found out who your dad was. Happy Lowman of the Sons. Shit, you go to meet him. Will he accept your his daughter or will he want nothing to do with you?

Shelly's POV

Well it was confirmed he was my dad, and to be honest I didn't know how to feel. Relief? Will this affect my job? Some many questions were floating around my head, I needed answers just hit my paternity but my life, my safety. I sat in their bar while he was in a room called 'Church?', and he left and asked me to follow him to his house to talk in private.

We pulled up to a little one story house, it was very nice. It seemed in great shape, probably not lived in much. My cop instincts were kicking in and I was alert, and put my hand on my gun. Happy looked at me and said,

" No need for that Shelly, I am not going to hurt you."

I nodded and we proceeded into his house. As I suspected barely lived in, but it was nice non the less. He has some pictures on the wall, a elderly looking women most likely his mom. Some looks like some men from the Club.

" So who is your mom?"
" Sara Marcus."
" I know her, she was at a party when I met her."
" My Aunt Betty's bachelorette party."

He sat there and thought of his next question.

" Where is she?"
" Unfortunately she passed away from cancer a few months back."
" Sorry to hear that, my mom has cancer as well so I know how you feel."

It was nice to sit there and talked to the man who was my father. He asked me how I got into law enforcement and told him it was the man my mom dated for a couple of years, he taught me about guns and how to handle them. He was a police officer too, unfortunately died in the line of duty.

I told him my mom kept him from knowing me because he was a dangerous man but he didn't seem that brutal. He seemed older and wiser but would kill if he had to.

" I did a background check on you, I had to. I had to know who you were, I'm should be scared of you because of what you have done and your dislike for law enforcement but I also know from experience biker clubs rarely hurt women and children."

He agreed with me on the last part, he told me he would never hurt me. He told him his club about me and told them he wanted to get to me know me and make sure I didn't have a different motive to find me. That I understood, he was protecting his club but his child as well. He might have just met me but he felt he needed to.

" I want you to meet the Club, I trust you. You just wanted to meet me, if you wanted to do anything you would have had backup."
" I had always wonder who my dad was and my mom always told me she didn't know but now that I met you I want to continue this, build a relationship with you. If you want that?"

He told me he would like to build a relationship with me and I told him I had vacation time coming up and could spend time with him and spend time with the Club. He told me ok and I left, I had to get back to Lodi for work. I gave him my number and he gave me his to stay in touch.

Happy's POV

Shelly left a couple of days ago to go back to work, and I went back to the Club. I told her when she gets back she could stay here and she agreed to it. Now I am off to the Club to tell them what I found out.

" Hey Jax, can you call Church?"
" Sure brother."

So he called Church and we all headed in.

" Shelly is mine from a one night stand when I was in Tacoma. Her mom was at a bar for her sisters bachelorette party. She kept looking at me all night and finally decided to act on it, she left the next morning and never seen her again. To be honest I thought about her all the time, I could see myself settling down with her as pussy as it sounds. I know Shelly is not here to get information on the Club, she wants to build a relationship with me. I agreed and wants to get to know you guys too. She will be back next week on vacation."

He all agreed that it was ok for her to hang around and get to know them and me. It was still unreal that I have a daughter but I will not lose her, not to my brothers, or my enemies. I will protect her at all costs, might even talk her into moving down here and transfer to Charming PD to keep her close.

Clay banged the gavel and dismissed Church. We all went into the bar and Half Sac gave us all beers and shots.

" It will be ok Happy, she is family no matter what." Piney told me and I nodded in acknowledgment that I heard him. I wasn't too worried but I kept my guard up. Brothers or not they do something to my little girl and they will feel my wrath.

" You ok brother?" Kozik asked
" To be quite honest yes and no. I want to ask her to move here and transfer to Charming PD but just meeting her I don't want to push it."
" It will work out brother, just give it time. I understand you want to keep her safe and she will be protected no matter what."

Knowing it coming from Kozik it was true, I trusted him no matter what. We have known each other since we were Prospects, he had my back. Just now it's the waiting game for Shelly to come back and get to know my little girl.
