This is a crossover of Grey's Anatomy and the Sons, I don't any rights to either show.

Summary: You are the best Brain Surgeon in the Country and you work at Seattle Grace in Seattle Washington but you leave and head to Charming California and meet the Sons.

I was the most sought out surgeon in the Country but I preferred being in Seattle, Washington at Seattle Grace a long with my best friend Meredith Grey, my boyfriend Alex Karev, and Cristian Yang.

I grew up with Meredith and her mom Ellis Grey a well known surgeon herself took me in as her own, I mean I had a family but I didn't get along with them. They wanted me to be a stay at home wife but I wanted to be a surgeon like Ellis, like Meredith.

Even though Ellis was always working she managed to raise Meredith and myself so I was always grateful for her, so when we graduated high school it was off to med school.

" I can't believe we are in med school Mer." I said excitedly.

" I know Nic." She said as we walked to our first class.

Eight years later and we graduated top of our class thanks to having Ellis Grey as our Mentor, I wanted to be a Brain Surgeon because I was always fascinated by how it worked, Meredith was a Surgeon as well.

" Nicolle Causon please come up to accept your diploma." I walked up and got it and it was the proudest day of my life just wish my family was here to support me but I had Meredith so it was good enough for me.

So we decided to do our Internship at Seattle Grace where we pretty much grew up in because Ellis would always bring us there, and that is how I met Cristina Yang who became my friend and Alex Karev who become my boyfriend, then there was Izzie Stephens and for some reason I couldn't get along with her.

Our first year was the hardest because we were Interns but thankfully Meredith gave us a place to stay I wasn't worried because we were friends, we were close to the Hospital and it just worked out.

" So Nicolle when are you going to let me take you out?" Asked Alex and I caved and let him take me out, and he asked me to be his girlfriend. I told him yes and it was nice.

I knew there was a reason why I didn't like Izzy because everytime one of the Interns called her Dr. Model and I rolled my eyes at it. Alex told me not to worry about her and I did but I wish I didn't. Eventually our year was up and went into our fields we study for and it was a dream come true, Alex and I were doing great, life was good.

There was no surgeries so I was just on the floor where ever they needed me and Alex had the day off. We still lived with Meredith until we had the money to move out as well as Izzy which I wasn't happy. I just came off the night shift and headed home and just wanted to cuddle with my man and sleep, but what I saw hurt me so bad.

I just walked in and heard moaning which I wasn't shocked by until I heard Izzy moan Alex and don't stop and my heart dropped, and I looked into our room and he seemed so happy and so I shut the door and went back to the hospital to sleep. I was hurt and angry.

That day I decided to take up on one of the offers and it was in California in a little town called Charming. Meredith came on shift and saw me sleeping and I told her what happened and told her I was leaving.

" Sorry Mere, but I need to leave for a while, I don't think I will be back." I told her as we were eating lunch.

" I understand Nic please keep in touch ok, I love you not only my best friend but my sister." She told me. I smiled at her and squeezed her hand and told her,

" I will but please don't tell Alex I want nothing to do with his ass." She agreed and I was off to California to St. Thomas to start my life over.

Three days later I make it into California to Charming, found a very affordable condo thankful for my pay raise and settled in before starting a new life here in Charming. Then my phone rang and it was Meredith calling me,

" Hey Mere." In said

" Hey Nic so you made it?" She asked and I answered yes but thankful for her not saying much because Alex might be listening and I didn't want him to know where I was.

" Yeah just got my condo together and then I start Monday at St. Thomas." I was so excited but sad at the same time because I missed her so much and Seattle but she assured me that it was fine and we got off.

Monday finally came around and I was off to St. Thomas to start my day, got my ID badge, all my paperwork finished and was talking to Margaret when a man was rushed in with a head injury due to an explosion.

" Well Dr. Causon this is your time to shine." She said so I went to scrub up and walked in to see a man who looked like a Greek God but I had to focus and get through this surgery.

I had to relieve the pressure off his brain and stitch him back up, but what I hadn't realized I was being watched by the Hospital Heads and Margaret Murphy but non the less they were impressed by me and was glad the decision was made to get me here.
