Summary: You are Jax's new nanny and on a lockdown you meet Kozik a member who transferred from Tacoma. He asked Jax who you were and he told him that you were his sons nanny and you had a daughter yourself.

Shelly's POV

Jax just called to tell you there was a lockdown and you had to get Abel, Emily your daughter and yourself ready because Tig and Happy were on their way to escort you to the Clubhouse. See you met Jax when you applied for the nanny position and you instantly fell in love with his little boy Abel, you yourself had a child a little girl named Emily.

She was the love of your life and was only two, the two of you moved to Charming after your husband died over in Iraq, so you packed up your belongings and left San Diego making your way to Charming not knowing a single soul but you needed a fresh start. In the five months you lived in Charming you grew close to the Sons, a rowdy group of guys but absolute sweetheart's when it came to Emily because she had them wrapped around her little fingers especially Tig and Happy.

" Why are we on lockdown for?" I asked when Happy walked in and Emily launched herself into his arms.

" Threat to the Club." He answered and kissed Emily on the forehead and gave her a lollipop which he always carried in his Kutte just for her.

" Bags are in the car, Abel is strapped in his carrier and you have little miss so let's go." I told him and we were off. First went Tig, then me and Happy.

As we pulled into the lot there was armed guys on the roof, guys on the gate and the lot was packed. This was serious and so I went into protection mode and as I parked my SUV, got the kids out and Half-Sac got our bags. Emily jumped into Happy's arms and Jax took Abel and kissed me on the forehead. I looked over and seen Tara and she smiled at me, me and her grown close over the months and she told me I was a god send, I took some of the load off her.

" Hey darlin'." Jax said

" Hey bub, so how long this time?" I asked

" Not sure." He told me and I nodded.

I headed into the Clubhouse and made sure Gemma didn't need anything and she said no, so I got Emily situated with her snacks and coloring books. I looked around to see who all was here, there was a new face in the Clubhouse. He had blonde hair and he was sexy actually reminded me of a surfer, I shook my head he probably wouldn't go for a girl like me. I wasn't like the girls around here, I had meat on my bones, curves in all the right places, long brownish blonde hair, I wasn't self conscious or anything I always held my head high.

Kozik's POV

I was sitting at the bar having a drink when walked in this goddess of a women, she had curves in all the right places and she walked with so much confidence. I wonder who she was, I don't think she was an Old Lady because I have met all of them. I am going to have to ask Jax who see is.

" Hey Jax who is the women over there with Abel and the cute little girl?" I asked when Jax walked in.

" That is Shelly she is Abel's nanny and that is her daughter." He told me

" She have an Old Man?" I had to know if she did or not.

" No man her husband died about a year ago in Iraq and moved here. Why are you asking because she ain't a sweetbutt or croweater, and her kid is a package deal." He told me and it was basically a warning to me not to fuck anything up.

I looked over to where she was and decided to bite the bullet and go and talk to her.

" Hey sweetheart names Kozik." I said to her

" Shelly, nice to meet you Kozik. Which Charter are you from?" She asked me

" Originally Tacoma but recently patched in here." I said

" Like Happy uh?"

" Yeah, we exactly Prospect together."

We talked and got to know each other, she was originally from Ohio and moved around with her husband who was in the Marines until he died. I can relate because I was a Marine myself and told her sorry for her loss, and she thanked me for my service. I met her little girl Emily and she was just as beautiful as her mom, she actually sat in my lap the whole time and Shelly was surprised because it took at least two months before for she even got close to Happy and Tig. That made me feel better about asking her out to get to know her, her daughter already warming up to me.

It went on like that all night until Emily fell asleep and I walked her to her room to put Emily in her bed and then she asked me if I would join her outside because she wanted to smoke and talk some more.

Shelly's POV

I really was enjoying talking to Kozik, he was fun to be around. It surprised me when Emily sat on his lap like she has known him her whole life, she didn't do that with Happy or Tig. I want to get to know him more and see where it can go, I don't want to be single the rest of my life but I won't be played or Emily get hurt.

" Kozik I really like talking to you and I want to get to know you better but I won't be played or get Emily get hurt because she gets attached easily, that is why I haven't really dated since her dad's death. It's been a year but still hurts."

" I understand she is a package deal Jax already read me the riot act, I want to get to know you too. I am not looking for a hook up, I want something solid I am getting older now and need stability in my life."

She seemed to relax when I told her that and leaned over and kissed me on my cheek. So I kissed her on hers and put my arm around her, she laid her head on my shoulder and we stayed like that until she fell asleep. So I carried her to bed and took her shoes off and left her with her daughter.

The next day we talked some more and asked her to be mine and she said yes and we will take it at her pace. No need to rush things, got in a fight with Tig and Happy over her, told me not to hurt her or Emily because brother or not Happy will kill me and he don't care if he gets Mayhem.

Let's just say meeting her and Emily was a blessing and not a day goes by that I am thankful for transferring to Chariming because we got married a year later and have a baby boy on the way. I thought being a out law biker I would be single the rest of my life but Shelly and her little girl came into my life and changed it forever.
