Loving You Makes Me Weak

I listen to this song all the time and it inspired me to write a one shot.

Summary: I couldn't understand how loving my Old Man Opie made me so weak but it did.

I have been with my Old Man Opie Winston since we were kids, married at eighteen and had our kids in our twenties. He was the love of my life and I was his, having the kids was the icing on the cake. He was over the moon when I told him I was pregnant, he waited on me hand and foot, gave me what ever I wanted, he was the ideal husband.

He could make my heart skip a beat even after this long he still gives me butterflies, he can be in just his basketball shorts cleaning the yard and I have to catch my breath, him fresh out of the shower and man I have to close my eyes. He knows what he does to me and does shit on purpose.

" I get so weak in the knees I could hardly speak, can't explain why loving you makes me weak."

" Baby?"

" Laundry room."

" Was that you singing?"

" Yes why?"

" Just wondering, do I make you weak in the knees?"
He asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me with so much passion.

" Yes Harry Winston you do make me weak in the knees since we were kids."

" You make me weak too baby since I laid eyes on you."

I met Opie and his family when my dad moved to Charming after my mom left him for another man who apparently knocked her up and so my dad got me because my moms new boyfriend didn't want me so I went with my dad which was fine by me, he got a job in Charming as a mechanic at Teller-Morrow and we moved in next door to the Winston's.

As soon as I laid eyes on Opie it was love at first site even for a ten year girl, he was super sweet and asked me if I wanted to play basketball with his friend Jackson and I said yes, I instantly bonded with both of them and a friendship was formed.

Over the years we grew closer and started to date but unfortunately Mary Opies mom divorced Piney Opies dad and took Opie I was devastated but Opie still came down on the weekends and eventually he came back to live with dad because the Club was in his blood and he wanted to Prospect when he was older.

I understood the Club was in his blood and never asked him to change and he was thankful for that.

' You love the man, you learn to love the Club.'

Gemma instilled that in me for the longest time, she shaped me into the women I am today. Gemma pretty much became my mom and JT my dad but unfortunately he died and I was devastated because a year later I lost my dad so I became lost. Opie was by my side the whole time, as soon as patched in he made me his Old Lady.

Got his Crow and was married a year later, found out I was pregnant with twins a boy and a girl Kenneth and Elizabeth but we called her Ellie. She was the splitting image of me and Kenny looked like his dad, he doted on his kids. 

It was rough when he went away for five years but I made it work told them daddy had to go away from us for a while that he still loved us and will love us when he gets home, I never blamed the Club only Kyle for my husband being incarcerated and away from his family.

When he got out we picked up where we left off like he never was away, he went back to the Club and I was ok with that. We made it work now don't get me wrong we had our fights but only at home never in public or in front of the Club. Our business was ours and no one needed to know it, I have bounced bitches off the floor over him a time or two and will still do it to this day.

He never made me doubt where his loyalty was because he would never cheat on me and I wouldn't even think about doing it to him, Opie was it for me til my dying breath. I made sure to keep our marriage interesting like movie nights, dinners alone, date night you name it and we did it.

" Hey where did you go baby?"

" Remembering when we met and how we grew to love one another."

" You are my one and only girl I need in my life besides our daughter."

" Well there might be one more girl or maybe boy."

" Wait are you pregnant?"

" Yes eight weeks just found out yesterday."

" Oh baby I am so happy, I'm going to be a dad again. Have you told the kids, the Club, Pops?"

" No you are the first to know Giant."

He picked me up and swung me around and the kids heard all the noise and came to investigate what it was and Opie told them and they were happy, then we went to the Club to announce it and we celebrated even though they never needed a reason to but non the less the sentiment was there.

Him walking around announcing it to everyone made me love him more, he made me weak to my knees and having another baby with him made me all giddy inside. I loved being pregnant and can't wait for Opie to dote on me and the baby.

Turns out we are having another girl and he was super excited and so was Ellie, she gets a sister and Opie gets another daughter. I love my family more than anything and to be honest I wouldn't change them or this life for nothing.
