Falling in Love

Summary: You went away to college at eighteen to become a Doctor but you are called away for your fathers funreal you end up meeting Felip Telford oh did I mention you are Pineys Daughter and Opies Sister?

I had left to go to Medical School in Massachusetts at eighteen. I am the daughter of Piney Winston and sister to Opie Winston both members of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club. Both of them were super proud of me to be accepted into Harvard Medical College, they were sad that I was moving cross country but they were happy non the less.

I left the drama of Charming and the Club behind me and was glad I did. I didn't have to worry about death threats, drive by shootings or being kidnapped for who I was. I really enjoyed living in Massachusetts and never wanted to leave but fate had other plans for me. Even after I graduated I decided to stay in Boston, got an internship at Boston Medical and made a ton of friends.

We all decided to room together in a friends house and it worked out great. We had went into the same field to be Surgeons but of course it wouldn't be another year until we could actually be on our own. In that time Opie went to prison for five years, sit hit the fan in Charming and I lost my sister in law.

Now I knew about my niece and nephew because they would come and visit me. I told Opie I wouldn't step foot back in Charming and stayed true to my word, even for Donna's funeral I didn't attend. I was busy saving life's and he understood. But when I got the call because my dad died that was a different story. I was a major daddies girl and so I left.

I remember the day I got the call I had just finished a major surgery when I got a page to go to the desk.

" Dr. Winston speaking."

" Shelly I need you."

" Harry what's wrong?"

" It's dad he's dead."

" Ok I am on the first flight out, I will call you with the details."

So we hung up and told my Supervisor what was going on and she told me it was ok and to get home. So I booked my flight and was off to Charming. I called Opie from the airport waiting for my flight to leave and he told me he would be there to get me, what I wasn't expecting was a welcoming committee.

" There is Dr. Shelly Winston."

" Well if it isn't Jackson Teller."

We gave each other a big ol' hug and then Opie, and then Tig. The other two I didn't recognize but was introduced as Juice and Happy. Interesting names but non the less I introduce myself and we were off. I had to remain calm during this time or I would lose it before I even seen my dad, I knew I should have came home when I wanted to be another surgeon had went on medical leave and I covered for him.

" Shelly don't feel guilty ok Pops knew your career came first and wasn't mad, Hell he was proud of you always bragging about his daughter who became a Doctor. It's ok bug no one is mad."

" God I hate that name Harry, but I get it. I just wish I could have said goodbye."

We went to the funeral home to see him before anyone else and I was heart broken to see my dad like that, his health got the better of him. I been telling him for years to take better care of himself but he would tell me it was ok and if he died he died happy.

" You stubborn old man, I could kick your ass for leaving me. I miss you dad and I love you."

I kissed him and turned around and seen a man I had never seen before he was handsome with scars on his face. I went to introduce myself to him, he intrigued me.

" Shelly Winston."

" Felip Telford, nice to finally meet the daughter of Piney he was always bragging about."

" Yeah He was proud of me."

" You sticking around for a while?"

" I have a week but if there is something worth staying for I might just stay."

I was falling in love and falling hard for a man I just met but there was something about him that had me having impure thoughts about. He was oozing with confidence and pure sexiness, I might stay after all.

" Hey sis you ok?"

" Yeah bub."

" Sure that is why you are looking at Chibs like you want to jump his bones."

" Who says things like that theses days dork?"

" Who says dork these days?"

We bickered back and forth and it was just what we needed to get through this funeral. I went and seen my niece and nephew. They started to cry telling me not leave begging me to stay, I had to make a decision and it was either leave at the end of the week or stay.

After the funeral and the wake I spent all the time I could with the kids and my brother. Met his new wife Lyla and was not impressed by her but to each there own. I was growing closer to Chibs and I made my decision I was staying, my family needed me more than ever and so I went to St. Thomas to see if I could transfer and so I filled out the paperwork.

My boss back in Boston was upset to lose me but understood why I was doing it, told me the best of luck and don't be a stranger, Chibs made his move and asked me to be his, and I said yes. Everyone was happy that I was home and for good.

A year later Chibs asked me to marry him and be his Old Lady. Of course I said yes and to be honest I was never happier, then found out I was pregnant but with twins. He was so excited to be a dad, the boy we named Piermont James Telford after my dad and the girl we named Ellana Faith Telford. It's funny about how they say it was love at first site but it was true with Chibs, I fell in love and fell hard and never looked back.
