Lockdown Before Christmas

Summary: The Club is on lockdown two days before Christmas and everyone is getting restless so Abel your nephew asks you to sing, no one knew you did til now.

Two days before Christmas we were on lockdown due to a death threat to the members family so here we are getting restless and I can't blame them we all just want to be home and getting ready for Christmas.

I was trying to keep the kids occupied by playing games, coloring, baking you name it I was doing it, they just seemed down in the dumps.

" Aunt Shelly can you please sing us a song?" Asked my nephew Abel, he was the only one who knew I sang because I sang to him every night before bed.

" Shelly I didn't know you sang." Said my brother Jackson and everyone kept telling me to sing. So I came up with a song I could sing and since it was close to Christmas I decided on Hallelujah.

I've heard about this baby boy
Who's come to earth to bring us joy

I had the entire Clubhouse paying attention to me, all the kids sitting around me, Abel on my lap cuddle into me and Juan Carlos aka Juice was really paying attention to me and I kept going.

A couple came to Bethlehem
Expecting child, they searched the inn
To find a place for You were coming soon
There was no room for them to stay
So in a manger filled with hay

I had a crush on him for a long time and was always hoping he would ask me out but I always seen girls hanging around him so I gave up and went about my day. If he can't see me or make an effort to get my attention I didn't need to worry.

I was really starting to get into it and was starting to sway a bit with Abel in my arms, saw my mom with Clay cuddling into his side, Jax with Wendy, every one was cuddle with someone with they loved all but him, he didn't care about any of the women.

A star shown bright up in the east

I finally finished singing, Abel asleep in arms, I got around of applause from everyone and I blushed. Wendy grabbed Abel to put him to bed and she kissed my forehead.

" Wow Sis I didn't know you could sing." Jackson said

" I never really sang but only to Abel to help him sleep when he wanted to fight his sleep." I said and it was true.

" Well baby girl I want to hear that voice more often it is absolute beautiful." Mom said to me and she kissed my cheek and went back to Clay.

The kids all decided to go to bed along with their parents so it left me, Piney, Happy and Juice along with some of the girls who were entertaining Piney and Happy while Juice was sitting at the bar.

" Penny for your thoughts." I said to him as I handed him a new beer and got me one as well along with a shot.

" I am just mesmerized by your voice, I haven't heard anything like it since I was a kid when my grandma would sing to me." He said smiling

" Well thank you Juan it means a lot to me." I went around to the other side of the bar to sit next to him and he looked over to me and smiled

" Why haven't I realized til now how beautiful you are and how stupid I have been not asking you out but I like you a lot Shelly." He said and leaned over and kissed me.

" Wow Juan that was just wow." I was speechless I have always wanted to do that

" I wanted to do that for a long time but never thought I was good enough for you but didn't want to see you with any other man." He told me putting a piece of hair behind my ear and I bite my lip.

" I liked you too for a while but you never seemed interested and didn't want to seem desperate." I looked into his eyes and kissed him again.

" Be my girl?" He asked

" Of course Juan I would love to." I told him and we kissed again until I heard a throat clearing behind us

" Hurt my sister and I will cut you balls off and feed them to you understand?" Said Jax

" Man Jax I couldn't imagine ever hurting her I love  have for a long time." He said

" Ok I am happy for you guys good night." He said as he grabbed a bottle of water

" Well that went better than I thought." I said and it was true I actually thought there would be a fight but I was glad there wasn't.

" So thankful for the lockdown." He told me and I was too.

" Yes thankful for the lockdown Juan."

We went off to bed and I was so happy I got my man and my family heard me sing, it turned out to be a good lockdown even though for the circumstances.
