Imaginary Friend

Summary: You are Abel's imaginary friend and every time he tries to tell his mom, dad, grandma or one of the Sons they just brush it off like he's just being a kid, but when you show up on the lot one day and Abel recognizes you but in adult form it leaves them speechless.

Abel's POV

I have a imaginary friend named Shelly and she is so fun to play with when my mommy or daddy was working, so we would swing together, or play tag it was fun. I tried to tell my family but they would always say ' Not right now son mommy's busy' or
' That's great but needs to get back to work.'

It was hard for me to tell anyone about how fun Shelly was yo be around, but no one wanted to believe me, and it made me sad but Shelly knew how to make me feel better. She would tell silly jokes, or
make silly faces at me, she was great to have around.

One day I went to the lot because daddy had to work and grandma was watching my little brother Tommy so that left me and Shelly but she didn't show up like she always does so I sat and waited, and waited until it was lunch time but she never showed up and I was sad, everyone was asking if I was ok and I wouldn't answer them because I was too sad to talk, she left me and I didn't know if she would be back or not.

Mommy and daddy was looking for a nanny for Tommy and me because the last one quit because she said this job was too hard for them and just couldn't do it anymore and I was still missing Shelly, I just was too sad, I wanted my friend back. Again we were at the Clubhouse and grandma was interviewing new nannies and then I saw her it was Shelly but in adult form. How? I didn't care because I ran up to yelling,

" Shelly you came back. I was afraid you left me for good." I said to her and I looked up to her smiling but also confused.

" Excuse do you know my grandson?" Grandma asked

" No mam I just moved her and seen a nanny position opened and came to apply for the position."

" But how to do grow up so fast Shelly? You were small like me and now your big." I said

" I don't know buddy."

Daddy and mommy showed up because grandma called because of Shelly, daddy was questioning her on who she was, where she came from he seemed upset and I don't know why because I knew her. Mommy told me it wasn't possible to know Shelly because she has never lived her before and it was a lie she was my friend they just didn't want to listen to me.

After all the questions and daddy had her checked out by Uncle Unser she got the job and I was happy because she did the things little Shelly did before but we did more things, we went to the Zoo, an amusement park and that was fun, got ice cream all the time man she was fun, she would read me bedtime stories and make me a special breakfast each day before school and be there after to pick me up. I didn't want to end she was fun and I liked her.

" Shelly are you ever going to leave me?" I asked one night before bed.

" No I am never leaving you, I like being your nanny and Tommy's too. But with Tommy I can't do the things I do with you because he is too little, what's going on Abel?" She asked

" I really like you and don't want you to leave like little Shelly did, she just up and left me and I was sad. I love you Shelly." I said with tears in my eyes.

" Oh Abel I love you too." She gave me a big kiss on the cheek and I fell asleep.

Shelly never did leave me but when she told my daddy she was had a baby in her belly I was scared she wouldn't have time for me or Tommy because I remembered when mommy had a Tommy was in mommy's belly and she was always tired or working. I was going to lose her all over again and I started to cry, Shelly heard me and came running into my room to see if I was ok.

" Oh Abel what is the matter?" She asked

" I heard you told daddy you had a baby in your belly and I remember mommy when Tommy was in her belly and she was always tired or working so she didn't have time for me." I said with tears in my eyes.

" Oh sweetie that won't happen, I might get tired but I won't forget about you. Your my little buddy and Tommy too, you just get a new cousin that's all."

Her and Uncle Happy were boyfriend and girlfriend and now had a baby in her belly, at first I didn't like Uncle Happy having Aunt Shelly's attention but she told him I was her little buddy and Uncle Happy understood and I felt better, he would hang out with us at night until it was my bedtime and would be back the next day for breakfast, and sometimes went with us on our little ' Adventures' and it actually was fun.

It was time for Aunt Shelly to have her baby and guess what she let me be the first one in the room to see the baby and then Tommy, it was so cool to hold my little cousin Vincent, he was so small and looked like Uncle Happy grumpy face and all. They laughed when I said it but non the less I liked him and couldn't wait for him to get bigger so I could play with him.

Aunt Shelly kept her promise and still had time for me and that made me happy.
