After I ate breakfast, Hayden walked in. We are back to ignoring each other since he has failed to understand me. We did share eye contacts once a while and for some reason, I really wanted to talk to him and tell him what's going on. I wanted to fill him up on my plan but the slight mention of Stuart will get him angry. And by the way he stared at me, I could see he also wanted to say something. Perhaps his ego is keeping him from saying it.
When it was twelve on dot, I stood up and told Amelia I was going to check on something before I existed the room. When he's ready to talk, we'd talk.
I went downstairs and went straight to the receptionists. One of them attended to me. She was a brunette and dark in complexion. She gave me a smile.
"Welcome ma'am. Do you want to check out?" She asked.
"Nope. I just want you to tell Mr Chris Benjamin, room 711, that one of his friends is here to see him." I replied.
"What's your name please?"
"Just tell him one of his friends. He understands." I said.
She nodded and dialed his number on the telephone.
"Mr Benjamin, this is Clarissa speaking. A friend of yours is here to talk to you. She has failed to tell me her name sir. Alright then." She dropped the receiver.
"He's on his way ma'am." She said.
"Tell him to meet me outside once he gets here." I replied. She nodded and I walked away.
When I was outside, I wore contact lens and tied my hair up in a smooth bun. I waited for him to come out of the hotel and backed him quickly when he looked at my direction. I watched him from the glass doors of the hotel and when he had walked away, I entered the hotel again. I walked hastily towards the elevator. Immediately I got in, I closed my eyes instantly.
"What the hell is Hayden doing here?" I whispered to myself.
"Hey there, I'm Keira." A blonde said extending her hand to him.
"Uhm." Hayden replied and smiled at her without taking the hand. Rude...
The lady slowly took her hand back and smiled a bit. "If you don't mind, what's your name?" She asked him again.
Hayden sighed and looked at her. "Liam." He lied. Well he can't actually tell her his real identity anyway.
"Nice name." She cooed.
"Thanks."
She licked her lips seductively and eyed him. Alright! She's passing her boundaries now! "You know, we could always talk over coffee sometime soon." She offered.
"Uh... Sure." Hayden replied. He agreed? He actually agreed?!
"Great. My room number is 56 and here's my card." she said and gave him a card. "Call me." She whispered before pecking him on the lips. The elevator door opened and she walked out leaving only Hayden and I alone in there. Thank God she walked out if not, there would be bloodshed here.
Why are you even worried about that? My brain asked.
Uhm?
Wait, are you jealous? Oh my! You're actually jealous!
I'm not!
You are!
Not.
Are.
Not.
Are.
No...
Gosh! I need to focus on the mission. Why is it even my problem if a stupid blonde flirts with him or not? It's not as if he's relevant or anything.
