Camilla's pov...
Even my room was a complete mess and I was too tired to arrange it. This entire case is getting me worked up and I still haven't talked to my mum yet. I'm sure she's worried. I've never spent so long on solving a case before. Maybe because I never had a partner.I brushed my hair backwards out of frustration and sat on my bed. I swear after this case, I'm going on a vacation and Thomas can't stop me or call me for another case until I'm ready to come back.
I charged my phone and placed my head on my pillow.
"These stupid earrings!" I removed them and raised my pillow up to put them under when I saw a note. I picked it up.
"Camilla, it's me, Amelia. When Hayden and you were out of the house, they brought me back here to take the diamond. I managed to write this letter when they were searching for it. They are planning to take me to Paris. I don't know the particular place though. We will leave immediately they see the diamond. And I grabbed your black dangling earring, the one with a black rose on it. They fit me so well. Anyway, I hope to see you and Hayden again. Bye." I read and smiled.
"Hayden! Hayden!" I shouted and ran out of the room to his. "Hayden!" I barged into his room and he jumped out of his bed.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"See. Amelia left a letter." I said and waved the paper.
"Really? Let me see." He said and took the paper. He read it in his mind and smiled. "This is good. At least we know they are in France. We'll find her there. Come on, let's go pack up for France."
"I can't wait! I've always wanted to go there but I've been busy and all. My dream will finally be fulfilled." I said cheerfully.
"You're cute when you smile." He said calmly with a smile and I stared at him.
"Thanks." I said. "I'll go pack up now. You should too." I walked out of the room and I heard him mutter something to himself.
I entered my room and grabbed my travelling bags and started packing my entire load into the bags.
I'm going to France tomorrow!
I can't wait till my mum hears this. She'll be shocked. I grabbed my dad's picture from my luggage and sat on the bed.
"Dad, your princess has grown up. I'm even working for the FBI. You have always wanted me to be someone respectable like you were and I know you'll be proud of me. I really miss you dad. I wish you didn't go." I said and hugged his photo. I closed my eyes but when I noticed my eyelashes were getting wet, I quickly opened them. I wiped the tears and smiled. "I love you dad. I always will." I said and laid down. I was gonna sleep with his pics today. "Good night." I whispered and slept off.
The next morning...
"France... Yes. That's what I'm saying...alright then. I'll talk to you later. Bye." Hayden walked into the parlour with his luggage. I was already waiting by the door with mine. I wore a above knee-length black jumpsuit and black timberland. My earrings were also black and I dropped my hair. No makeup."Morning Camilla. You're set?" He asked.
"Yeah. Good morning." I replied.
He smiled at me. "Come on. Let's go to the airport." he said.
"We are taking our motorcycles too right? I can't leave mine here." I said.
"We brought them here even though we took a plane right? We'll take them with as well." He said.
"Better." I carried my luggage and he came to me with his.
"Give it here. I'll carry them for you." he said.
