A frown replaced the eagerness on his face and I noticed him ball his fists but he released it most probably because of the pain he felt in that injured area.

"Ravi? Xena's now fiance?" He asked. I nodded. "I can't believe it! That innocent looking Indian boy isn't so innocent."

"I don't know what to do. He's Xena's choice and she'll be so disappointed and hurt. It's all my fault. I should have supported uncle Craig," I said.

He moved to me and pulled me into his chest. At first, I felt uncomfortable since I wasn't one for hugs but I slowly melted into his tender touch. This hug also made me realize how short and small I was- which wasn't so important at the moment but it was still quite noticeable.

"Don't blame yourself. You just supported Xena based on her description of that asshole," He said.

The door flew open, jolting us apart. Ashton walked in with a tray containing three coffee mugs and he had his concentration on the mug and trying to stop the liquid content from spilling which I was happy for. He might have thought something more than a mere hug was going on between Hayden and I if he had seen the way we jumped apart.

"Sorry for not knocking but carrying a tray with three mugs of coffee is so much work," He said, just looking up.

I collected the tray from him and handed he and Hayden a mug each before taking mine. I dropped the empty tray on the stool.

"Thanks for the coffee. I'm surprised you still know just how I like it," I said with an appreciative smile.

"How can I forget? You'd always scream it in my ears whenever I made you any," He said. I chuckled.

Hayden cleared his throat and set the mug in the tray. "Thanks for that," He said.

"No problem. I'm thankful I even met Camilla here. I was planning to go give it to her in her room," He said.

"Yeah. Anyway, we should get down to business," Hayden said.

Ashton nodded and I sat on the bed, he sat beside me so I placed my left arm around his neck. I traced Hayden's hard gaze to my hand and smiled to myself.

"Babe, I know it's been a while since we last saw each other but anyone would think we're in a relationship right now," He said.

I frowned a bit. "I do this to you almost everytime and you never told me that before," I replied.

I found him looking at Hayden's pained face and thought he had got the message and was now thinking Hayden and I were very much together. But I refused to let go of him.

"We have only a limited time left. Every second counts and we don't know what Ian is planning right now. He destroyed the FBI, he is holding your mum and Amelia captive and..."

"Maa is being held captive?" Ashton asked. I saw the worry and concern on his face. "Why didn't you tell Thomas and I?" He asked.

"I couldn't. I was so caught up in the whole mess and we lost contact all because of Ian," I said.

"It's fine. We'll find her, I promise," He assured me and looked at Hayden again. "Do you guys know exactly why Ian is doing all this?" He asked.

"He said he's looking for his queen," I answered.

"His queen? Who's that?" Ashton asked.

If he was asking who the queen was, that meant we had just risked our lives and the lives of others all for nothing. Even Hayden's face suddenly grew lean as he stared at me.

"We don't know," I said.

"That's why we came to get you," Hayden added.

He looked between us and stood up from the bed. "I'm not sure but I do know who might be his queen," he said.

"You do?" Hayden and I asked, anxiously waiting for an affirmative nod and the name of the person too.

"Well yes. Ian and I used to be a bit close before he got arrested and imprisoned. During those times, he had his eyes set on Jewel O'Higgins before she quit her job here and went to start her life in India," He explained.

"Oh yeah! Now I remember her. Jewel... Blue eyes, busty and average height blonde," Hayden described her and Ashton agreed.

Was he staring at how busty that girl was? Thank God she left already.

"Wait, if I heard you correctly, Ian had once been imprisoned?" I asked, getting their attention.

"Yes," Ashton nodded and looked at Hayden. "You haven't told her?" He asked him.

I diverted my stare to Hayden. "Told me what?" I asked.

"Ian was..."

"Actually, he is talking about Ian being my partner. But I already told you about that," Hayden said, cutting Ashton short.

I nodded even though I knew there was more to what he spilled out. Why was Hayden trying to hide that piece from me? He already knew how much I disliked lies when he failed to tell me of his parents.

He looked at Ashton as if to pass a silent message via eye contact. But I guess he noticed my stare and quickly composed himself, holding his head high as if everything was okay.

"We need to know where Jewel stays now," Hayden said.

"I heard she moved to Secundarabag, India when she left but I'm not sure she's still there," Ashton said.

"That mean, the code should be somewhat old. If she no longer leave there, it only proves that," I said. And Hayden nodded in agreement.

"I can easily get her new location if you guys want it," Ashton said.

"Good. Good. Thanks Ashton," I said.

"Don't say thanks yet. Until maa is safe, I'll make sure to help the very best I can," He responded. He squeezed my hands.

"Alright. You should hurry and find her location," Hayden said. He broke our hand contact and Ashton nodded and walked out. He sat on the bed.

"If you can't trust me even after everything that has happened between us... Although to be fair, not much has happened but still, if you don't trust me yet, then we should call off this entire mission, tell Ian he has won and tell Thomas the task was too difficult to solve," I said. His eyes flew to my face and I walked out of his room instantly.
