After we finished eating, Amelia started searching for the diamond. It was important we found it. That was the main reason why Raquel was killed. However, there was something strange about this whole thing. Since the death of Fred Hammond, everything's been going smoothly. That was strange. They should have found out where we were since all these days.

"Found it!" Amelia shouted, cutting me our of my thoughts. She walked to me holding a necklace with a real diamond as its pendant.

"A necklace?" I asked and collected it. I started inspecting the diamond. It looked real and just like the one we saw in the record book.

"Yeah. My mum asked me to keep it safe so I thought the best way to do that was to have it with me all the time. That's why I made a necklace with it." She replied.

"So why was it not around your neck?" I asked.

She shrugged. "I removed it after a while. No reason in particular." She said. I nodded at her. "Okay. Do me a favor and still keep it with you. Hayden and I would discuss our next line of action." I said. She nodded and took it from me.

Fast forward...
Later that night, I got dressed in a white sundress and slippers. I let my hair fall in waves behind my back and headed outside.

"Where are you off to?" I heard Hayden ask behind me. I turned around to see him resting on the door frame of his room with a glass of wine in his hand.

"That's none of your business." I replied. He wanted it cold, I would give him cold.

He was taken aback by my response but soon pulled himself together. He came closer. "What do you mean by none of my business? If anything happens to you, I would be held responsible." he said.

"I can take care of myself so please, don't pretend as if you care. I know you don't." I bit back.

"You know what? You're right. I don't care. But I don't want anything to go wrong." I stared at him. "Get back inside."

I scoffed. "You're not the boss of me Hayden. You're just my partner so stick with that. We aren't even friends, remember?" I glared at him and left after that.

I didn't like being cold and sassy. He had said it at the park just yesterday that we aren't friends and we are nothing but partners. I had that registered in my brain and I wasn't gonna be insulted by him any longer.

"Selena?" A male voice called out unsurely. I didn't turn back though. After all, that wasn't my name. "Selena!" He called again before someone tapped my shoulder gently.

I flinched at their touch and was surprised to see Stuart behind me. He was smiling at me.

"Oh hey Stuart! You- you really scared me." I breathed out.

"Well, I was calling you but you seemed lost so-" He trailed off.

"Calling me?" Oh! I'm Selena! That was the name I told him I was baring. When he gave me a confused look, I quickly covered up. "Yeah. Yeah. I didn't hear you. I- I was busy thinking about something else." I said.

He smiled and nodded. "It's okay. So, wanna walk?" He asked.

"Well- okay then." I said and we took a long walk to the beach.

"So, wanna tell me what's bothering you?" He asked.

"Uhmp... I'd rather not." I replied.

"I know you don't trust me because we just met but I'm just trying to help."

"I know." I sighed. "Alright then. I'll tell." I said. He smiled at me.

"Thanks." He said.

"There's someone I met of recent. We talked a lot and so on but he just told me yesterday that we aren't friends and I don't understand why he said that."

"Did you bother asking?"

"He didn't want to talk to me so I didn't ask."

"It's okay. Not everyone comes in your life to stay. Some come for a short time and leaves after." he said. "But what you should know is, those that leave don't actually worth you. You're worth more than them."

He was right. I looked at him and smiled. "Thanks Stuart. Thinking of if, you're actually right. Thanks." I said.

"You're welcome Princess. It feels good to see that beautiful smile on your face."

"Uhmp... It's not that beautiful."

"What?! You're kidding me. In fact, you have the most beautiful smile I've ever since in my life."

I blushed at his compliment. "Thanks Stuart. However, I don't like blushing."

"Looks like I'll be complimenting you more often." He giggled when I glared at him.

We both sighed and looked at the peaceful water. The dark night looked so beautiful with all the shining little stars and the half moon. So perfect!

"Let's sit?" He asked. I nodded and sat beside him and we continued watching the stars. "Hey! Look at those stars. They form an elephant." He said and pointed at the sky. I followed his finger to what he was pointing and giggled.

"Look there! That one resembles a mango." I said and pointed at what I was talking about.
.
"And that one looks like a mouse."

"Look there, that was is in the shape of a tiger."

"How sure are you that's its a tiger? He asked.

"It's obvious." I stated.

"Nope. It's not. It could also be a tigress." He said and I laughed and hit his shoulder playfully.

He laughed too and didn't even get affected by the playful slap on his shoulder. "That didn't even hurt." He said.

"Oh really? Eat sand then." I said and since he didn't quickly process what I said, he already had a handful of sand in his mouth. I laughed as he spat it out and glared at me.

"Ew!" He stood up and ran towards the ocean to wash his mouth only to spit out the water almost immediately. "This is damn too salty!"

"Duh. That's why it's called an ocean." I stated and walked to him to get a closer look at his face.

"I know that. I was just commenting."

"Well would you look at that? The ocean can't hear you. And even it did, it can't do nothing about it. It was created that way." I replied.

He eyed me and spat again before finally getting all the sands out... Or almost all of 'em.

"You're wicked." He said and I smiled.

"Tell me again. I just wanna quit." I said and sighed dramatically. He was gonna reply but his phone beeped. He took it out and checked the screen before returning it to his back pocket.

"I've got to go now. It was nice spending the night with you. See you soon." He winked and I nodded. He left after that.

I stared back into the water and sighed again before heading back to my room.
