Secunderabad, Telangana, India...

“What could be in this place and where do I start looking for this queen?”  I asked myself.

The burner phone rang in my pocket and I picked it.

Ian
We haven't talked for a while now. Don't think I forgot you though. Have you successfully cracked the code?

Camy
The code is really difficult to crack but I'm on it. I would tell you when I'm done.

Ian
Uhm... Are you even working on it? How hard could it be?

Camy
Well, if you could crack it yourself, you shouldn't have disturbed me then.

Ian
Just don't do anything stupid. Remember a lot of people's lives are in your hands...including your mum.

Camy
And you should remember that I won't spare you if there is as much as a cut on my mum.

I returned the phone to my pocket and entered a taxi to the hotel I had booked.

A day later...
My cellphone vibrated beside me and I dropped my cup of coffee and answered it.

“Hello?” I said into the receiver.

“Hey. Is this Camilla Veda?” The person at the other end asked.

I frowned. How did he know my name?

“Uhm... Yeah? Why?” I asked.

“I'm inspector Craig of Secunderabad police Station. We somehow got a note for you here.” He said.

“Excuse me? A note?”

“Yeah.”

“Okay then. I'll be right there.”

“Yes ma'am.”

I dropped my phone. Who could have sent the note? Who sends a note to someone through a police station? How did the person get my personal line? This is so confusing!

Why don't you just go to the station and find out instead of asking stupid questions?! Brainy snapped.

Shut it Brainy.

Brainy? What are you? Twelve?

Nope. Five.

Stupid.

I stopped arguing with myself and went to the station instead.

Secunderabad police station...
The station was already quite old. It had old, rusty furniture and cracked walls and floors. Only a man, dressed in brown, police uniform was at the counter going through some files.

“Hey.” I greeted and he faced me.

“Yes? What can I do for you? What do you want? Can't you see that this place is already old? What's your complain?” The man asked.

“Actually I was called here. They said I had to come collect a letter for me.” I replied.

“Oh! Go in.” He pulled up a slab and I entered. “The second door by the left.” He said. I walked away.
