"Oh my world! I wanna dance!" I said. My words slurred out of my mouth. I tried to stand up but I just fell back on my seat. Hayden just kept laughing. It was obvious he was enjoying the show. "Would you at least help me up?"
"Nope." He replied with a smile.
"Fine." I held the table and managed to stand up by myself. Thankfully I wasn't wearing heels but I still didn't feel comfortable since every step I took looked like I was carrying ten legs each. But when I started dancing, I soon forgot about my heavy legs. Cheap Thrills by Sia was playing and I was enjoying the music. I swayed my body to the rhythm of the beat and soon, Hayden came to dance with me. He placed his hand on my waist and I wrapped my hands around his neck to position myself well. It was going well until someone punched Hayden from behind me and yelped me backwards. I staggered and held a chair for support.
Oh my gosh! Hayden just beat Hayden up. Wait, what am I saying? There can't be two Hayden's, can there?
"How dare you lay your hands on her?" The puncher asked. His voice sounded just like my Hayden's voice.
"What's your problem dude? The girl was dancing and I joined her. She was even enjoying the dance with the way she held me tight." Okay that's not Hayden. I was dancing with some random idiot. Why was I seeing Hayden's face?
"You had no right to hold her in the first place. She didn't call you to dance with her." Hayden snapped.
"Who are you to her? Her dad?" The idiot asked and everyone else laughed. Hey! No one is allowed to insult my Hayden except me! Why am I calling him mine anyway?
"She's my girl okay? And I only excused myself to use the bathroom when I met her in your filthy arms." Hayden said.
"Well, maybe you should have taken her with you to the bathroom or controlled your fucking bladder then because no one can resist a sexy beauty like her." The guy said looking at me and he licked his lips. I wish I wasn't drunk. I would have kicked his stupid butt.
"Don't you dare look at her that way!" Hayden thundered and punched him again. Stupid guy tried to return the punch but Hayden ducked it and punched him in the stomach. He winced like a baby. Before the matter got any worse, the bouncers walked in and separated them.
"Do you know who I am?" Stupid guy asked.
"I don't and I don't fucking care. I would have broken your immature bones if not for the bouncers so thank your stupid stars." Hayden spat.
"Please leave sir." One of the bouncers told Hayden, till holding him. Hayden jerked his hands off and came to me.
"Come Camy." He said and held my hand for support but my legs were too weak to carry themselves. Or shall I say too heavy? He sighed and scooped me off the floor like I weighed nothing at all. "Amy, let's go." He said. Amelia stood up and we left the bar. I was in Hayden's arms through out and I felt safe there. I wrapped my hands around his neck and placed my head on his chest. I don't know if it just me but Hayden's heart was practically racing. It's probably just me.
We got back into the hotel room and he placed me gently on the couch.
"Good night Hayden. We'll continue tomorrow. By the way, you're handling her tonight." Amelia said and walked into the room.
"What?!" Hayden asked in shock.
"You can't expect a ten years old to handle a drunk. Sleep tight!" And with that, she locked the door.
Hayden looked at me again. "Guess I'm taking care of you tonight." He said and carried me again.
"Your heart is beating way too fast." I said.
"So? I shouldn't breath again?" He asked.
"Why do you talk to me this way? It hurts you know." I said. He closed his room's door with his leg and looked at me.
"It does?"
"Yeah. From the first time we met, you've been a grumpy meany."
"I'm...I'm sorry?"
"Yeah you are. And for a really handsome, cute, charming guy like you, those features doesn't fit you."
"Did you just call me handsome, cute and charming?"
"Great! That's the only thing you're dumb brain could pick out."
"And then you call me mean." He said and twisted his mouth before dropping me on the bed softly.
"Alright! Sorry. But I mean it. You're really handsome."
He chuckled and pulled up his shirt. "You might want to look away now."
"And miss out on that? No way!" I said. He chuckled again and I stood up. I swayed my way towards him and stood in front of him. I poked his arm. "You are so well built. You're not only hot but you also have muscles." I said and hiccuped.
He laughed. "Alright! As much as I enjoy all the compliments, you need to sleep now." He said.
"True..." I hiccuped again and lost balance. I quickly shut my eyes and waited for the long sharp pain on my butt. But when I felt nothing, I opened them. I saw myself in Hayden's arms and he was staring at my face. "Thanks." I mouthed.
He nodded and slowly stood me up. "Come on. I'll guard you back to the bed." He said and held my hand. He led me to the bed and tucked me on properly before going to the other side of the bed and picking up a pillow.
"Where are you going?" I asked him.
"Em... I'd sleep on the floor. You don't have to worry."
I started laughing uncontrollably. "Say what?! You will leave my side for the floor? Come on. Sleep here." I said and tapped beside me.
"It's okay Camy." He replied.
"Stop it!" I said and stood up again. I managed to get to him and he held me to keep me stable. I placed my hands on his shoulders and laughed again for no reason. "You're sooo funny." I said and laughed again. "This bed is big enough you know. Come on! Or I'll join you on the floor." He smiled.
"No need for that. I- I'll sleep on the bed with you." He said.
"Good." I chuckled and pecked his cheek. "Goodnight handsome." I winked and I wasn't sure I got to the bed before I blacked out.
