Mercedes stared at the cast sheet angrily. Callback?! A freakin callback?! She was a Fabanges! Fabangeses didn't get callbacks; they got called!

"What's wrong?" Mike came up behind her.

"You made it." She pointed to his name on the cast sheet for West Side Story.

He grinned. "Cool. Did you get Maria?"

She stabbed the page with her index finger.

He read it and grimaced. "Artie can't pick you right away. Rachel's his girlfriend now."

That calmed Mercedes. "You're right. After this callback, all will be right."

As he kissed her cheek, he hoped it would be.

W.W.W.

It was not...

"Share?!" Mercedes was furious. She knew she outperformed Berry and the fact that Artie, Coach Beiste and Ms. Pillsbury wanted her to share with the Jewish diva made her want to act like non-pregnant Marcy.

The three swallowed thickly.

"She's my girlfriend." Artie offered weakly.

"And you two?!" Mercedes raged.

The two women gulped.

Mercedes scoffed, hurt. She shook her head before leaving the room.

Coach Beiste ran after her. "Peach Pie! Wait! I know this isn't fair to you but-"

"But what?!" Mercedes spun around, tears spilling down her chubby cheeks.

Coach Beiste felt terrible. "I don't like hurting anybody. Neither does Emma. We felt like this would be fair for you both."

"What about the other roles? Does Blaine have to share? Tana?"

Coach Beiste deflated. "Please just think about it. We need you."

Mercedes wiped her eyes as she stormed off.

W.W.W.

"Would it be so bad to share?" Quinn asked.

"Q?!" Mercedes looked back at her wife in betrayal. They were in their bed with their feet by their pillows and stretched out near the bottom.

Quinn was sort of laid across her wife's back. "You know I'm the last person to want anything good for Rachel but they're not budging. It's either you share or she gets it. Is that what you want?"

"No." Mercedes pouted as she returned her face to her folded arms.

Mike kissed the side of her face showing. "You stop pouting. They need a German chocolate Maria. Representation matters. Give 'em hell."

Mercedes smiled at her support system and personal cheerleading team. She was so thankful to be married to two such wonderful people and decided to cook a magnificent feast for them to celebrate her new role.
