Marcy pointed. "This one."
"Are you sure?" Mike looked up at the tall tree.
"Yup. They'll love it."
"Alright." He whistled sharply and the guys came from searching out trees. "We're getting this one."
"We just got here?!" Finn was surprised.
"I'm decisive." Marcy shrugged.
"We gotta carry this big ass thing?" Puck whistled lowly.
"You've got guns."
He grinned and wiggled his brows at her.
She chuckled. "Come on here. The girls will want to go shopping right away."
W.W.W.
Mercedes screamed lowly. "I love this tree!"
Quinn scowled. She loved it, too. "Good job, Moppet."
"Wow, Little Diva." Kurt walked around the tree sitting in its stand. "You sure know how to pick beautiful trees."
"I know beauty when I see it." Marcy looked down at an entranced Mickey.
He smiled. "So that means we get to go shopping while the guys put up things outside?"
Mercedes cheered. "Yes!"
All the girls cheered. "Yay!"
W.W.W.
Mike's, Mercedes' and Quinn's house was a winter wonderland outside and in. They had lights and inflatables and statues and toys everywhere but it was cohesive and beautiful.
Quinn picked up Fluffy from trying to eat tinsel. "Doesn't it look beautiful, Fluffy?"
The cat meowed.
Mike looked around. Christmas wasn't his favorite holiday (New Years was) but this looked pretty good. "I'm tired."
Quinn stroked Fluffy gently. "Just think; we get to do this tomorrow."
"Whose house are you doing tomorrow?!" Santana was devastated.
"Our parents." Mercedes told her.
Artie grimaced. "Let me get out of here before I get roped into untangling more yards of lights."
Marcy giggled. "But you're so good at it!"
"Nope! Come on, Rachel!" He unlocked his brakes.
Rachel giggled. "Bye, guys. See you on Monday."
The two left.
"She's really trying." Mercedes was proud.
Santana rolled her eyes. "Yeah, she is."
"In a good way, Tana!"
Surprisingly Brittany was the one to scoff. "Whatever."
Everyone blinked at her in shock.
"Britt's being mean. The whole world's gone screwy." Daisy stood up. "Come on, Jav. We gotta go."
Others began saying their goodbyes and leaving. Soon both Chang families were left with Jude and Yuria.
Marcy yawned as she bounced with the wide awake Riley. "We'll see you in the morning. What time are you going over?"
"We're starting at the Fabrays this year." Mercedes wiped her face of glitter. "We should get there early. I don't know when Marc and Laura are getting in."
"Laura said they were driving in early; like six in the morning."
Mike blanched. "I don't want to get up at six in the morning!"
"Mikey!" Mercedes shook her head at him.
"Stop being lazy, boy!" Marcy snapped. "We have two days to get this done!"
"Why can't we do it next weekend?" Mal whined, swaying with Mickey gently.
"Because we're taking Christmas photos next weekend." Quinn couldn't wait to go shopping for it.
The boys grumbled.
"You stop that." Marcy spoke in baby talk to her husband. "I'm the one who has to go shopping."
Mal grinned. "Thanks, baby."
"Uh huh." She turned to her sisters. "When are we going shopping for the shoot?"
"I don't have my diary on me." Mercedes frowned. "When do you have time free?"
Marcy grimaced. "It'll have to be during school hours."
"Blow off a class or two and go?"
"Yeah."
"What classes can you miss?"
"Technically all of them but jazz band. Artie, Finn and I have a concert next week-"
Mercedes squealed. "Yes! We'll be there!"
"You don't even know where it is or what time!" Marcy laughed.
"I don't care. We support each other."
Mike and Quinn nodded. "Always."
Mickey pulled on Mal's sweater. "Sleepy, Daddy."
"We should go." Marcy checked and saw Riley wasn't so wide awake. "I'll just call you after we get the kids situated."
"Okay." Mercedes started forward as they all started for the door.
The younger Changs left, getting in Travis and driving off.
Mike shut the door. "So... what are we going to do until they call?"
Mercedes blushed. "Naughty man."
He grinned.
