Mercedes awakened to kisses. She giggled. "What are you doing?"
"We're bad at this if you don't know." Mike murmured against her coffee skin.
She giggled again then moaned. "Nope. You're definitely not bad at it."
W.W.W.
Mercedes opened another present and gasped happily. "Thank you, baby!"
Maddie beamed. "You're welcome, Mercy!"
Mike whistled shortly so his older wife would look at him. "I have something for you."
"You've already given me two gifts and made me tamagoyaki for breakfast!" Mercedes squealed.
"Yeah but Puck gave me a great idea."
She frowned. Her husband was taking birthday gift advice from her ex-boyfriend?
He left the room and came back with his back to the group. Then he turned around. A tiny brown and white Pomeranian puppy with a purple bow around his neck was in his arms.
Mercedes screamed loudly.
Riley copied her.
Mike handed the puppy over. "What are you going to name him?"
Mercedes thought about it as she rubbed the little pup's head gently. "Barney."
"No." He refused.
She stared at him in awe. "How are you going to tell me?! He's mine!"
"You will not name him something that'll get him beat up at the dog park."
She stuck her lips out as her family laughed. "Then what would you come up with?!"
He thought about it. "Li."
"Lee?"
"Jet Li."
"He's so cute!" She drooled.
He lifted a brow.
"You're cuter!"
Marcy made a sound.
Mike was offended.
Mercedes giggled. "Okay. His name can be Li. Hi, Li. I'm your mommy. Want to meet your big sister, Harmony?"
W.W.W.
Mercedes wrinkled her nose as she folded laundry. "Are you okay?"
"Hell naw!" Marcy folded her own laundry. "It's that damn Mexican water!"
Quinn snorted softly with laughter as she ironed.
"Marcy!" Laura folded a pair of Marc's jeans and put them in a pile.
"I'm not lyin! When was the last time you chose water to drink in Mexico?!" Marcy sassed.
"Stop talking about my country!" Santana moaned.
"Japan has delicious water." Karou folded a tee.
"Shut up!"
Paris giggled as she folded a pair of Jude's boxers. "Germany has beer."
"Aretha! Tell your cousins to stuff it!"
"Guys, stop teasing her." Mercedes smiled. "She's sick."
"She's been sick all month!" Marcy bit off. "I don't know what's Britt's problem! Korea is cleaner than Mexico! Oh, damn. I forgot. Britt don't wash her hands."
The family shuddered.
"I've got her to being more clean." The sound of a toilet flushing sounded on Santana's end. The sound of water splashing let them know she was probably washing up.
