Rachel walked up to Marcy at her locker. "Marcy?"
The green eyed soccer star turned. "Yeah?"
"You and Artie share a lot, don't you?"
"Do you want me to tell you how he really feels about you?"
That wasn't why Rachel was there but now she wanted to know. She shook her head. "Is he cheating on me?"
Marcy's brows raised. "What? No. Why would you ask that?"
Rachel made a troubled face. "He's acting really weird and he won't talk to me. He acts strange any time I bring up Brittany or Santana. I just have a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach."
"It's called intuition. Always listen to it."
"You're not going to hide his cheating?" Rachel was shocked. "But you're best friends."
"Yeah but I'm not going to uphold his wrong. He hasn't told me anything about any cheating so I don't know if he is but since we're best friends, if he were, I wouldn't come out and tell you. That's against friend code. But I'd be trying my best to get you to bust him while telling him about himself in private because real friend code is doing what's right; not what's easy."
Rachel blinked, blown away. She had always thought friends accepted everything you did with no questions asked. "Well thank you."
"I can talk to him for you. Nine times out of ten people don't realize how they're coming off to others so he probably doesn't even realize he's acting squirrelly."
Rachel beamed. "Thank you, Marcy."
"No problem."
W.W.W.
Artie sweatdropped. "Uh..."
Marcy slapped his chest. "You're cheating on Rachel?!"
Artie pulled her on his lap then rolled to the nearest closet. "You can't tell her!"
"I oughta fight you!" Marcy popped up and snatched on the light.
"It's not what you think!"
"Either you are cheating on this poor girl or you aren't! And if you aren't, I oughta slap you for making me feel sorry for Rachel!"
He wanted to smile at her words but he needed to unburden his soul. "I haven't touched anyone."
She gave him a look. "You haven't touched anyone?"
"No. I've kept all of my body parts to myself."
She nodded. "Good. Then what's the problem?"
"My brain has other ideas..."
She grimaced. "Do you have lust in your heart for another girl?"
"Not quite."
"A boy?" She lifted her brows.
He slapped her thigh.
"Well you said it!"
"It's two girls!"
"You slut..."
He was startled into laughing. "Boo Thang!"
"Who-? It's Britt and Tana, isn't it?"
"Have they told you how they're- I don't even know what they're doing or if I'm just going crazy."
She felt pity for him. Every girl in glee and cheerleading knew what Santana and Brittany were doing. Well except Rachel. "Dude, you have to put your foot down."
"My feet don't move!"
"Shut up!" She slapped his chest again. "Ignore them like you- well like you should ignore Karou."
"That girl is hot." He drooled.
She giggled. "Your cousin is going to kill you."
"What does he need with two girlfriends?!"
"Artman!"
He crossed his arms with his lip stuck out.
"I know you might still have feelings for both Tana and Britt but you cannot do Rachel how they did you. It's not fair and it's not right. As much as Rachel can work a nerve, she doesn't deserve this. So if you don't stop emotionally cheating on her, you should break up with her."
Artie sighed. "You're right, BT."
