Marcy yawned as she and her family got situated on the airplane flight to Beijing, China. It was going to be a long flight after a long day. They'd gone to see their properties all over England and the kids loved it.
Marcy was just exhausted.
Mal took her hand. "You okay?"
"Tired." She pouted.
"My baby's tired?"
She laid her head on his arm.
"You know our family's around?"
"Shut up..."
He sniggered.
W.W.W.
"Whoa!" The below six crowd was mesmerized by Beijing while the older people just wanted naps.
They went to their hotel and checked into their rooms, Maddie staying with Marc and Laura.
Marcy yawned as they finished unpacking. "We should take naps before going out."
"Naps?!" The kids were distraught over that plan.
"Yes. Naps. Go to sleep." She pointed to one of the three beds.
The four crawled into bed and went to sleep surprisingly easy.
The nannies went to sleep in their bed and the triplets had already been asleep but were now placed in their cribs.
"Are we leaving them?" Mal whispered.
Marcy nodded. She wanted to get the little girl before the reunion started. "Let's go. The sooner we do this, the sooner we can come back and sleep."
W.W.W.
Marcy looked around the room. It was specified that they were looking for a girl but she wasn't too stuck on four years old. The child could be six.
So she and Mal went around talking to a roomful of girls.
She stopped at a little girl who was not trying to impress them. She was drawing by herself in her own little world. Marcy squatted by her. "Did you make the sun green on purpose?"
The toddler started but didn't cry. She didn't say anything.
"I'm taking that as a no but it looks good. Just because the real sun is yellow doesn't mean you have to draw it yellow. Imagination rules."
The little girl smiled against her will.
"Do you speak English, Mandarin or Cantonese?" Marcy only knew two of those languages.
The little girl nodded.
Marcy tickled her under her chin. She laughed. "Do you want to be adopted?"
The girl shrugged.
"Do you like it here?"
She shook her head with wide eyes.
"Are they mean here?"
She nodded.
"The big people?"
She shook her head.
"The kids?"
She nodded.
"Well if you like me, I can take you away from them."
The little girl brightened.
W.W.W.ish
Mal stopped at an easel. "Wow, that's pretty good."
