"What are your plans for tonight?" Kurt asked.

"We're going caroling." Mercedes beamed as she put an egg wash on the edges of her quiche.

He stared at her beautifully crafted egg dish in jealousy. "How do you do that? I've been making quiche since I was eight and mine looks nowhere close to as beautiful as yours."

She giggled. "Kurt, it's just quiche. It'd be different if I made a Coquette Monsieur."

He screeched lowly. "I knew you were my best friend for a reason! You know how to make a Coquette Monsieur?!"

She giggled again. "You know I know how to cook, Kurt."

"Yes but Diva, you design. It's a work of art."

"You should see Marcy's food. No matter what she makes, it always looks good. Even if it's cereal."

"Really?"

"Yes. I love her oatmeal. She puts in milk, cinnamon, fruit, honey and seeds. It tastes so good. I know she's making it for her family now because she always makes oatmeal in the winter."

He groaned. "I want it and I don't even like oatmeal. What kind of fruit?"

"All kinds but I like her apple and raisin oatmeal the best because she also puts in cranberries. Dried and fresh."

He started salivating. "Little Diva needs to come over and cook breakfast!"

"She wouldn't just make oatmeal. She loves to make frittatas with ham, broccoli and cheese in a mini muffin tin and her stuffed French toast is the best. And she makes brown butter and brown sugar crusted pork belly."

He wiped his chin. "How do I get an invitation?"

"Just ask her if you and Blaine can come over for breakfast."

"Who?"

She laughed.

"Oh! Yeah. Blaine..." He grimaced at having forgotten about his boyfriend.

Mercedes shook her head.

He pushed away thoughts of food (which was weird since they were currently in home economics class at the moment). "We were talking about your plans after school."

"Oh yeah. We're going caroling. It's going to be so much fun!"

Marc pressed the doorbell and stood back. The door opened and he blew into a pitch.

He and his siblings began singing We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

The homeowners clapped along as they sang their three songs before moving on, earning a tip, which they'd donate to charity.

They crossed the street and did the same thing all over again, choosing three new songs.

And that was how they spent two hours, singing together happily.

Marcy turned off the ovens and took off her apron. She smacked Mal's hand as he reached for a cookie. "Stop that! We have to go!"

"One cookie, baby?" He whimpered.

"No. They need to cool and we don't have time for everyone to get one."

He grumped.

She poked his bottom lip. "You suck that lip back in."

He dropped a kiss on her mouth. "How's your cider coming?"

She went to her homemade hard apple cider. She could smell the bourbon and caramel really well. "It'll be ready by the time we get back."

Everyone was coming over their house after their activity- sledding.

The duo collected their family and sleds before setting off for a nearby cemetery. Laura and Marc were there with Maddie already.

"Hey!" The Changs waved.

Maddie and the Taylor-Joneses waved back. "Hey!"

"You sled in a cemetery?" Yuria was unsettled.

"It's really great." Marcy promised.

Yuria wasn't sure.

"It seems scary at first but it's awesome." Jude assured her.

Yuria stared at him. He (and their wild friend) were always doing dangerous things.

He beamed, knowing what she was thinking.

Marcy giggled. "Have we ever hurt you?"

Yuria had to admit, "No."

"And we won't now. It's a blast. I bet by the end of the day, you won't want to get off."

W.W.W.

"Yuria, we're tired and cold." Marcy knew this would happen.

Yuria lifted her fists. "Again!"

"Okay, we're going to fight."

"Yuria." Mal held back a laugh. "Aren't you tired?"

"Again!" Yuria loved the thrill of flying through the snow.

The others chuckled.

Mally went up to Yuria and laid on her shoulder. "Please, Aunt Yuria? I want cookies."

Yuria thought he was so cute. "Okay. I'm sorry. Let's go get cookies."

"Hallelujah!" Marcy snapped.

The others laughed.

W.W.W.

Mike had his head back with his mouth open wide, snoring. Quinn was tucked into his side, asleep as well. So was Mercedes, who was laying on his front.

Maddie was asleep on the floor with Mally, Secret and Fluffy. Mal was asleep by his wife, his eldest daughter in his lap, imitating his unique brand of snoring- singing.

Marcy was tucked into the corner of a couch because Mal was so close with Riley on her lap, singing just like her father. Yuria was in a chair, asleep as Jude was on the floor by it, asleep, too.

Laura was sprawled over her husband, softly yipping in her sleep. Marc meanwhile was fully focused on his Christmas movie pick, his favorite Christmas movie, ‪Die Hard‬.
