Overnight Challenge Pt. 3

Click management begins to strap us up with GoPro cameras. Each of us has 1 strapped to our chest. Liv passes out hand held cameras for us to film our reactions. We get 5 minutes to hide. Kath will count down the time at the food court.
Elliot: in 5...4...3..2..1 GO!
Everyone hauls ass down the hall. Lannan grabs my hand and takes off running towards the right. I see everyone just scramble. The mall is so huge we lose sight of everyone. He leads me into a resturant thats damn near pitch black. We hide directly behind the counter. We sit with our backs towards the door. We are so close our thighs and shoulders are touching. He tells me "shhhhh" as I can't stop laughing.
Y/N: well don't make me laugh!
Lannan: then I won't see your beautiful smile.
Y/N: stop breathing so hard!
(I say giggling)
Lannan: I haven't done this much running since.... Well never.
We hear shouting down the hall.
Y/N: I think she found Cray.
Lannan: yea that's his loud ass!
Minutes pass by and we're still on the floor sitting. The moment gets serious for a bit as he moves the strands of hair out of my face. Is he about to do what I think he is? He leans in and kisses me. It's like a light peck. I wanted more though. I lean back in giving him a more defined kiss. He puts the palm of his hand on my cheek caressing it. I back out quickly as I hear Kath and Cray close by. We crouch down lower. He puts his finger to his mouth with a big smile indicating for me to shush. They come into the restaurant. Kath tells Cray "hold on let me put on the night vision camera". Lannan holds my hand as they are getting closer.
Cray: ahhhh haaaa caught ya red handed! (He looks in the RR) no okay. Ahhhh haaa got cha! (He looks in the trash bins being silly)
Fruity we're getting close I sense it! Ahhhh haaaaa!!!!
Finally he looked behind the counter finding us. "Look fruity 2 in 1!". Kath comes up to me doing a sad puppy dog face saying "Help me find the others". Lannan says "we will find these bloody bastards!". We are yelling down the hall hitting the walls. "We know ya out there!" Lannan says taunting them. I drift away from the group hearing a "psssssst". I try and find where it came from. It's Bazza.
Bazz: Y/N over here!
(I jog to his hiding spot)
Y/N: really Bazz? Agian hiding in the curtains!
(We chuckle)
Bazz: this is all I could find or fit in!
(I join him squeezing next to him)
Y/N: I could be an ass and give you away but I got caught too soon so I'm joining you!
Bazz: good I need the company. Where were you hiding that you got caught so fast?
Y/N: Lannan and I hid behind a restaurant counter. Somewhat in the open.
(Bazz smile turns into a glare)
Bazz: so you and Lannan huh?
Y/N: yes it was hilarious!
(I say giggling)
Bazz: so y'all are a thing now?
Y/N: ummmm I wouldn't say that
(Bazz nodds his head)
We get quiet as we hear the group getting closer again in the hall. I hear Marcus's and Elliot's voice. They must have found them after I got away.
Lannan: where the fuck did Y/N go?
Cray: away from you probably! You scared her off!
Lannan: don't be a dick head!
(I laugh out loud)
Cray: ooooo fruity I think I hear something!
(She walks into the room. I jump out and scare her)
Y/N: damit I suck at this game. I got caught twice!
Lannan looks at me. Not the way he's been looking at me though. In like a upset manner. He's being a bit standoffish. He didn't even stand next to me to record the ending. Elliot looks into the main camera and does the outro to the video.
Elliot: all right guys there you have it! Stay tuned as there will be more videos uploaded to the channel don't forget to like comment and subscribe.
Liv reminds us to turn in the GoPros and the hand held cameras. As I'm taking it off I realized these bloody things were recording the whole time. Shit. I really don't care about the editors watching it but I'm curious to see what they're going to put in the click video. I seriously doubt that they would put our kiss in the video, but I know my viewers will notice something. Hell Maybe not. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Cray and Lannan head outside. They returned several minutes later with bottles of vodka.
Cray: let's get this party kicking!
(Everyone cheers)
Bazz brings out his speaker putting on some music. We are all on the floor with our sleeping bags just talking away. I get myself and Lannan a mixed drink. I head over to where he is and sit down next to him. I handed him his cup.
Lannan: thanks!
(He takes a sip leaving him a wet upper lip)
Y/N: What's wrong? You seemed a bit off since our kiss?
Lannan: no that was perfect.
(He smirked at me)
Y/N: then what is it?
Lannan: I got a little upset when I seen you with Bazz.
Y/N: oh gosh is that why?
Lannan: yes thats why! I know he likes you and so do I.
Y/N: Lannan I told you we are just friends. There's nothing there.
(I intertwine my arm around his)
And even if he did like me I don't feel the same way towards him.
Lannan: well that makes me feel better.
I was a bit stund he let something so little get him upset. I mean we aren't exclusive or anything. Our close friends may know somethings up but not the public. He leans in giving me a kiss. A way better kiss then he gave me earlier. It caught everyone's attention in the group. Everyone cheers at us. Cray and Elliot making comments towards Lannan about finally getting a girl. I catch eyes with Bazz. Only momentarily though. He gets up and goes to the restroom. I feel so bad. We were so close and now I feel disconnected from him. He needs to tell me how he's feeling 1st. I mean I'm not a mind reader.
