Hold Up

Lannan decided to wear his usual a tshirt with joggers and sneakers. His hair was on point since he just got a haircut. We get into the car a pull up to a beautiful little restaurant. It's Italian  food served. I've heard great reviews about this place. Lannan comes over and opens my door. We walk into the restaurant and we are greeted by the hostess.

Lannan: 2 for Eacott.

Hostess: right this way.

We sit down and ordered our drinks. I ordered a dirty martini extra dirty while Lannan ordered a beer for starters.

Y/N: thank you for taking me out tonight

Lannan: of course beautiful my pleasure.

Y/N: So I overheard Kath talking about going out afterwards?

Lannan: yeah I thought we could use a good night out so I invited everyone to a bar. We've been so stressed about not having content for YouTube so a night out will ease everyone's mind.

Y/N: well that's nice of you to get everyone together.

Lannan: I also wanted to ask you if you still wanted to go to my parents next weekend. Our click filming has been postponed so I thought it would be a good weekend to head that way.

Y/N: I'd love that! But I am a bit nervous.

Lannan: there's nothing to be nervous about my family would love nothing more but to meet you.

Y/N: well then it's a yes!

Lannan and I laughed this whole dinner. He's never been in such a better place. Seeing him smile and laugh made me fall even more for him. Makes me want to really break things off with Lachlan. We're coming towards the end of the dinner. Lannan pays and we walk back to his car. Right as were about to take off Lannan gets a call.

Lannan: what's up mate!
Lannan: yes we will be on the way
Lannan: of course she's with me!
Lannan: ok mate see you there!

Lannan hangs up the phone and puts his phone in the cup holder.

Y/N: who was that hon?

Lannan: its was Lachlan babe he wanted to know where we were at.

At that moment my heart sunk into my stomach. Fuck I didn't even think that was going to be a possibility that he was going to be at the bar too.

Lannan: you okay babe you look sick?

Y/N: I'm fine baby must have been something I ate? I'm fine though.

Lannan: I'm going to stop and put some gas do you want anything from the store?

Y/N: a water would be good

Lannan: I got you!

Lannan got off and and went inside. I shouldn't have drank so much at dinner maybe the water will sober me up. I hear a incoming text. I checked my phone but I had nothing other then some YouTube and Instagram notifications. I look down at the cup holder and I see Lannan's phone screen lit up. Another message arrived. I quickly unlocked it looking up seeing if Lannan was on his way back. Wtf hold up. It's Ilsa. Why would she be texting him and why does Lannan have her number. Again I don't get jealous much but this time it was different knowing that Ilsa liked him. The message read

<< Hey Lannan it's Ilsa just wanted to let you know everything is going as planned! Are you on your way yet?

Ohhhh hell no. What plans? My blood boils. I'm so upset. I see Lannan walk out of the store and we catch eyes he gives me a smile and I'm just looking at him is disgust. He put gas and gets in the car.

Y/N: so what the fuck is this?
(I flash him the phone)

Lannan: oh baby it's not what it looks like.

Y/N: yeah right. Explain to me then?
(I throw his phone down and cross my arms)

Lannan: it's not what it looks like okay. The bar were going to is a surprise Birthday party for Lachlan. Ilsa is helping me throw it since her and Lachlan have a little bit of a thing. I didn't tell you because I knew you would talk to Kath about it and as you know she can never keep her mouth shut on suprises.

Y/N: keep going!

Lannan: I told Lachlan we could go on a double date so that's what he thinks. I'm sorry baby I should of been more honest with you!

Now I feel so terrible. I'm an asshole.

Y/N: you could've of just told me not to say anything and I wouldn't have.

Lannan: I know I'm sorry I wasn't thinking
(Lannan leans in and gives me a kiss on the cheek.)

Y/N: well other then this I don't want you talking to her!

Lannan: I completely understand babe. Can I ask why?

Y/N: the night of the holloween party she expressed to me that she liked you not knowing you and I were are dating.

Lannan: oooooo. Baby you have nothing to worry about. You are my one and only.

Y/N: I'm sorry to hon. I just freaked out I shouldn't have gotten to upset without letting you explain.

Lannan: you did jump to conclusions
(Lannan laughs)

Y/N: okay I get it. I certainly did
(I giggled)

Lannan turns up the radio and and grabs my hand. He takes off to the bar.
I'm glad we got this all settled up.

Y/N: so where's this party at?

Lannan: not sure if you've heard of it. It's kind of off the grid but it's pretty cool. Its Dilley's Bar.

Holy crap. It's the bar Lachlan and I had that drunken night. Fuckkkkkk.

Y/N: nope never heard of it.
