Welcome

A couple of days pass and Lachlan arrives today. I'm excited yet nervous. I head to the airport to pick him up. I keep checking my hair every 2 minutes to make sure it doesn't get frizzy. Good thing there isn't any traffic so I arrive quickly. The airport was extremely packed. I send him a quick text to let him know I'm here already in the waiting area. I have my keys and my phone in my hands to hide that my hands are really sweaty. About 20 minutes pass and I see him with his luggage and a backpack. I could see his blonde hair a mile away. I start waving my keys in the air to see if he notices me. Finally he picks up his arm to let me know he's seen me. He jogs up to me non stop smiling. Shoot my cheeks were hurting from smiling so hard. We give each other a big hug what seemed to last several minutes.

Lachlan: you look good!

Y/N: thank you I'd say the same about you but you seem exhausted.

Lachlan: I definitely am but it's worth it
(He opens the exit door and smiles)

Y/N: thank you!

We go on talking while walking towards my car.

Lachlan: it's a beautiful day!

Y/N: right!

Lachlan: so what's in store for today?

Y/N: well I know you're tired so I was just thinking we stay at my house and just order take out. Maybe watch some movies?

Lachlan: sounds good to me.

Time passes and we arrive at my house. I help him get off his things from the car and I unlock my front door.

Lachlan: beautiful home you have!

Y/N: thank you! I can't take any credit though. My dad built this house for my family.

Lachlan: you never talk about him.

Y/N: I know it's kind of a mood killer. When you get unpacked we could talk about it then?

Lachlan: definitely!

I give him a tour of my house then the last room I showed him was my room.

Y/N: so this is my bedroom!

Lachlan: nice!

Y/N: I know it's plain. Before I left to Australia I did some decluttering. My room back at home now isn't so clean
(I laughed)

Lachlan: well I wouldn't know that now would I?

Y/N: yeah I have too many roommates.

Lachlan: I don't know how you live there. It must be hectic.

Y/N: lannan tells me the exact same thing.

After I mentioned Lannan's name it got akward. Maybe I shouldn't have said that.

Lachlan: Let's not bring that name up again? This is my time.

Y/N: yeah of course! Listen I'm going to make us a snack did you want to freshen up? I can get you a towel?

Lachlan: yes please! I need to wash this airplane smell of of me
(He laughed)

I head upstairs to the washroom and grab 2 towels in case he needed two. As I'm heading back down I hear his phone go off. I take my time trying to list to the conversation.

Lachlan: yeah I told you I had to travel to America for this YouTube thing.

Lachlan: I don't know when I'll be back.

I walk back into my room being quiet. I put the towels on the bed and sit down. He mouthed the words "thank you" to me.

Lachlan: I'll call you later I'm busy right now.
(He hangs up the phone)

Y/N: who was that?

Lachlan: it's Ilsa she called to see where was I.

Y/N: ah okay. I'll be in the kitchen when you get out. The shower is pretty simple red means hot and blue means.... well you get the point.
(I say closing my room door)

I head to the kitchen and cut up some fruit. Something simple. Later we could order some pizza or something. I hear the shower go on. After about 15 minutes I hear Lachlan call out my name.

Lachlan: Y/N?

Y/N: what's up?
( I say standing at my front door)

Lachlan: come in! I know this sounds silly but I can't turn off the shower
(He laughed)

I open my door and Lachlan is standing with just a towel on around his waist. His hair was wet and he had beads of water dripping down his chest. Man did he looked so good! I snap out of it and head to the shower to turn it off.

Lachlan: thank you beautiful!
(He walks up to me)

He holds my waist with his one hand and the other hand still on the towel so it won't fall off. He pulls me in closer and gives me a kiss. He's getting my shirt wet but I don't mind at all. This kiss was extremely intense. I want to go further but i knew if we'd just wait a little bit more it would be even better. I back away slowly from the kiss.

Lachlan: I've been waiting to do that!

Y/N: I can tell. Maybe tonight we can explore that a little more.

Lachlan I can't wait!

I get out of the room and head back to the kitchen. Minutes pass and Lachlan joins me. He sits at the bar/counter.

Lachlan: mmmm that looks good!

Y/N: it is and fresh.

I pick up a strawberry and feed it to him

Lachlan: yumm

I go towards him to join him with the fruit tray. I sit on the barstool next to him. We talk and flirt and just get to know each other more. Talking to him is easy. I could get use to this.
