finn & millie (au)Millie and the rest of her friends piled in through the entrance at Striker's, the bowling alley just outside of town.
The group was chatting away about people she didn't care a thing about. Her mind was on one person and one person only.
The gorgeous guy who works there, who she would be seeing in about thirty seconds. He's the best looking guy she's ever seen and that's not an exaggeration.
She's in love with the guy, completely.
Unfortunately, they go to different schools, so she only sees him at the bowling alley. That wasn't too much of a problem for her though, seeing as it was the typical hangout spot these days amongst the more popular crowd.
She's been trying to win the guy over for months, flirting with him every chance she can, but he just doesn't wanna give in.
Mostly due to that horrid girlfriend of his.
She really needed to go.
But fret not, Millie was working on that...
"Let's go get a table in the back before they fill up, otherwise we'll be sitting on that filthy floor." Sadie suggested, the others agreeing and heading off in that direction.
"You guys go ahead, I'll catch up." Millie called out, earning her a suspicious grin from her red headed friend.
"Ooh, gonna go flirt with Finn again?"
"Don't I always?" Millie shamelessly shrugged, before gracefully walking off in the opposite direction to go do just that.
Millie approached the counter Finn was working at. He had his back to her, as he placed various pairs of shoes back on the shelves. She took a minute to admire the view, before finally deciding to make her presence known.
"Hello, gorgeous." She seductively greeted her favorite boy, while casually propping her arms up on the counter.
Finn whipped around at the sound of her familiar voice, with the same amused look he usually wore when she came over. "Hi Millie, what are you doing here?"
"Uh, it's a bowling alley." She pointed out, gesturing to their surroundings. "I'm obviously here to bowl."
"You come here every Friday night with your friends and I've never seen you bowl once, so what could you possibly need from over here on my end?"
"Ah, you caught me." She carelessly gasped. "I only came over to see you, silly."
Finn sighed deeply, while placing another pair of returned shoes on their designated shelf. "Millie... We've been over this, you know I'm with-"
"Don't say her name." Millie interrupted, before she had to hear him say it again. She hated hearing him say her name.
"Fine. You know I have a girlfriend."
"Yes, Finn. I know, but the thing is... I don't like your girlfriend." Millie admitted, with a simple shrug of her shoulders.
