"So how did it go?" Jisoo asks Jeonghan, the 2 where on call together since Jeonghan got home. "He's just like I predicted, stubborn." Jeonghan sighs, as he lays down on his bed. "Is he that difficult?" Jisoo ask and Jeonghan scoffs "Oh please, I can take em head to head, toe to toe." Jeonghan says and Jisoo laughs also.
"So his friends are also here at Pledis right?" Jisoo asks. "Yeah they apparently all transferred with him." Jeonghan says and he can here Jisoo smirk. "Hong Jisoo don't even think about it." Jeonghan gasps. "Your not the boss of me." Jisoo teases. "I'm your hyung, and I got to go, I have to make dinner soon. I'll have to meet you at our lockers, since I have to help Seungcheol." Jeonghan says. "Ok bye Han!" Jisoo says.
"Bye Shua." Jeonghan says ending the call. He makes his way downstairs to see his mother passed out on the couch. Still in her work clothes, her hair a mess and deep and dark eye bags under her eyes. After his dad left them, His mom had started working 3 jobs. Jeonghan tried to help, but his mother insisted that he just continue doing well in school.
They weren't the richest so Jeonghan made noodles that night. He woke up his mom and the 2 ate. That night Jeonghan scrolled through his phone, unlike all his friends who had the newest iPhones, Jeonghan had an old Samsung. He normally calls on his house phone. He was scrolling through Instagram when he saw his sister had posted.
It was her with her friends in a blue jeep, in the driveway of a huge mansion, which belonged to his father. He took Jeonghan's siter with him and moved to L.A leaving Jeonghan and his mom with nothing. Jeonghan was angry at his sister, she knows what he's going through and all she does is laugh. She hardly reaches out to him, unless it's a holiday or smth.
He gets changed for bed, and falls asleep 5 minutes later.
Jeonghan woke up 6am. He hops out of bed and gets dressed in the outfit he layed out last night. He was home alone since his mother had left earlier for work. He was surprised when he checked his phone, Seungcheol had texted him his address. After eating a quick breakfast, knowing Jisoo would get him coffee. He left, it was 6:45 but he had a feeling that he should leave early.
Jeonghan felt a bit self conscious in a way walking up to Seungcheol house, it was way bigger than his, but he put on a smile and knocked. "Oh hello Jeonghan how may I help you." Seungcheol's mother asked as she smiled at the boy at the door. "Good morning Mrs. Choi, how are you?" He asks. "I'm good and you can call me Samantha." She smiles. "Ok, and I'm here to pick up Seungcheol, I hope it's ok if I give him a ride to school." Jeonghan asked and him mother nodded.
"That would be awesome, thank you Jeonghan, his room is up the stairs 2nd door on the left." She says and he nods heading up the stairs. He knocked on the door. "What!" He heard Seungcheol shout. "It's me." Jeonghan says knocking again. "Ugh go away!" He heard Seungcheol shout as he felt a thump against the door. Jeonghan took that as a sign to enter.
"Where's you backpack?" Jeonghan asked as he entered and started digging around in the mess on his floor. "Near the desk." Seungcheol says scrolling through his phone. "Well get up, and pick up some shoes, unless you want me to get you a pair." Jeonghan says, and 5 minutes later Jeonghan was dragging Seungcheol out while the boy was still eating an apple.
Soon they pulled up into the parking lot of Pledis High.
