Painting the walls

I woke up at 9:30 and saw a text from Misha saying, “hey whenever you’re ready to come over text me
and I’ll get the kids out of the house.” I texted him back saying, “I’m up so I’ll get ready and start heading
over.” then I saw another text, but it was from Jared saying, “I was wondering if after you’re done
painting the walls for Misha if you could come to my place so we could talk and get to know each other
a little better.” “sure, I just need your address so I can come over.” I answered almost immediately most
phone buzzed signaling a text I looked and saw Jared sent me his address along with two smiley faces
following, “can’t wait to see you.” I quickly got dressed in a t-shirt and some sweatpants I didn’t care
about texting Misha, “I’m on my way be there soon.” I walked downstairs grabbed a sealable cup and
filled it with coffee I grabbed my paint brushes along with the paint put them in my bag and headed off
to Misha’s when I got there I sent a quick text to my dad saying, “I’m at Misha’s then I’m going to head
to Jared’s.” I knocked on the door and Victoria (Misha’s wife) opened the door with a smile on her face,
“I’m guessing you’re Gabrielle well Misha just left with the kids so you could paint Maison’s room.” she
said, “oh I'm going to do Wes’s room to if that’s all right.” I hesitantly said then she showed me both
their rooms and told me “go crazy” it took me a little over two hours to do Maison’s room then it took
me a good three hours for Wes’s room I told Misha that I was done painting and the walls had dried so
they could return home. I couldn’t wait to see their face when they saw what I did to their walls when
they walked in, I handed Misha two blindfold for the kids first I showed Maison and her eyes lit up like it
was Christmas and she ran over to me and hugged me legs tight. I picked her up and took them to Wes’s
room and took his blindfold off he gasped and walked over to the wall putting his hand on the wall he
turned toward me and said, “thank you Auntie GG.” Misha took out some money and tried to hand it to
me and I tried to decline when he said, “come on just take it you didn’t have to do this, and you do just
take it.” I begrudgingly took it then hugged him and told him, “I’m heading to Jared’s now thanks for
letting me do this.” I walked down the stairs and started the Harley took one last look at Jared’s address
and started heading that way I pulled into his driveway and knocked on his door a minute passed by and
Jared opened the door he opened the door wider so I could walk in. He closed the door and motioned
towards the couch I sat down, and he sat next to me, “I asked you to come here because I wanted to ask
you if you would let me take you on a date?” “of course, Jared I would love to go on a date with you.” I
responded he let out a breath of relief, “thank god I thought you were going to reject me.” I giggled and
said, “how could I reject you you’re too cute to do that and I've had a crush on you for a couple of years
now."
