We sat across from each other and he took my hands with his intertwining them on the table smiling at me, “I have a confession, I fell in love the moment I met you I know it might be a little early especially since you just got out of a relationship, but do you think we can have a chance together someday in the future.” I smiled at him nodding, “yeah someday we can try, but I need to get over Dean first.” he nodded, “trust me I understand my wife of six years left me for some rich guy.” I sighed, “you wanna know something I never went on a date like this with Dean or any of my previous boyfriends.” something clicked in my head so far all of my previous relationships cheated on me. I chewed on my lip, “Drew if we try this I want you to promise one thing.” I paused and he nodded, “anything love.” I sucked in a breath, “please don’t cheat if you end things okay that’s fine, but please breakup with me rather than cheat.” I teared up a little bit but I blinked them away so I didn’t ruin my makeup. He nodded, “I would never dream of hurting you.” he leaned in as if he was gonna kiss me. I jolted up in my bed sweating, “why am I having dreams like this all of sudden?” I muttered to myself Christmas morning was in just a couple of hours so I got out of bed and walked over to my closet pulling out the poster boards and spray paint along with my camera tiptoeing down the stairs so I wouldn’t wake up my dad I headed to the garage/working space. I printed out the pictures that I had taken a couple of months ago, I picked up one of the blank canvas’ spray painting, “I love my family.” with multiple colors and took craft glue carefully lining up the pictures that way everything would line up and be neat I grabbed some string and nailed it into the wooden lining of the poster board. I took a step back admiring my work of art smiling I heard the door start to creak open so I grabbed a sheet and threw it over the masterpiece I turned and saw the twins I ran over and jumped on them I whisper yelled so I would wake anyone up, “oh my god I missed you guys so much.”
