(y/n pov)

You cried quietly, pacing around the room, up and down. Y/BFF wasn't answering her phone and neither was your aunt. You sat on your bed, wincing at the sound of your mother screaming again. You let a tear slide as you picked up your phone, trying y/bff again.

Head in your hands, you stood up again, staring at yourself in the mirror. You shut your eyes, deciding to call the last person you thought would be able to help. Dialing Grayson's number, you paced around the room.

You and Grayson had only been dating for a few weeks now, you weren't even that far into your relationship. Yes, you liked him lots, but you didn't know if Grayson even liked you that much. Heck, you'd only ever kissed a few times.

But still, you called him anyway, knowing he had to like even a tiny bit if he were to be dating him. "Hello?" You whispered as he picked up.

"Hey baby," He said. Your breath caught in your throat. He'd never called you that before. "Was that not okay, I'm sor-" You cut him off.

"No, no it was fine, I just-" You took in a breath. "What're you doing?" You asked. You heard moving around on his end and you sat back in bed.

"Nothing really, I've got the house to myself, so just chilling," He said. "You okay, sound kinda-" You cut him off.

"You think you could pick me up?" You asked, nicely. You heard more moving and the sound of keys. "Please, Gray?" You asked, another tear falling down your cheek as you heard the sound of glass breaking.

"Of course, yeah, hold on baby, I'll be there in 10 minutes," He said. You nodded, grabbing your backpack, even though he couldn't see him. "Want me to come get you inside?" He asked, and you heard a car being started.

"No, I- I'll meet you at the end of the road," You said into the phone. You heard him drop the phone and curse, picking it up.

"Okay, I'm going to end the call so I can drive, okay?" You let another tear slip as you sighed.

"I hope you can love this version of me Gray," You whispered before ending the call.

You walked to the edge of the curb, hair still a mess, and eyes red. You saw the familiar car drive past your house and to you. Stepping forward, you waited as Grayson stopped the car. "Hey," You mumbled, getting into the passenger seat. He looked over at you.

"Have you been crying?" He asked. You just sighed and pulled your seatbelt on. "Y/N, what's wrong?"

"It's just- sorry for bothering you, it's just, y/bff wasn't answering and I needed to leave so-" You cut yourself short and just nodded. He sighed. "I'm sorry," You whispered another tear falling down.

"No, no, don't cry, hey," Grayson leaned over his seat to wrap his arms around you. "Let's go somewhere else, yeah?" He whispered. You nodded and he pulled away, giving you a small smile.

He began to drive and you noticed, in the direction of his house. "Going to your place?" You mumbled. You looked over and he nodded, eyes on the road. Still, he took one hand off of the steering wheel, to put over yours.

"Okay," He said, taking off his seatbelt. You took off yours and got out of the car. He met you halfway and took your hand in his. "No one's home, so it'll just be us," He said, opening the door and walking in.

You followed him in as he turned off the lights. You'd been here before, just never alone with him. You looked over at him. "Did you have dinner?" He asked. You sighed nodding. That's when it all started. He held his hand out to you again. "Let's go upstairs," He said.
