"We can do anything?" you asked with a smile. Ms. Wilson nodded and you smiled at Grayson.
"Anything with any of the techniques we've learned this semester." You nodded and she walked off to help another group. "Good luck, you two." You and Gray both thanked her as she walked off.
"Alright, partner, get to work," Gray said, arm thrown around your neck. You laughed, taking it off of you and picking up the rubric. "What're we going to do?"
"I don't know, we'll have to brainstorm," you mumbled, reading through the criteria. He leaned his elbows onto the table, chin in his palm. "But we can do anything, yeah, so there are-"
"Endless opportunities." You smiled. "This is going to be great!" he cheered.
"For you, yeah, you won't be doing anything." He sat back.
"Nope, you get cracking." You laughed and the bell rang. He stood, grabbing his bag and you folded up the rubric to check out in your next class. "I'll walk you to class."
"Thank you, Gray," you said, and he leaned down to kiss you on the cheek. "Well, we don't have class time to do this, so we'll have to meet up at lunch," you said, walking with him through the crowded halls.
"Or," he said, pausing to hold the door for you. You thanked him, walking through. "You could come to my house." You smiled, shaking your head. "Come on, you never come."
"I'm scared to be alone with you," you said. He laughed, shaking his head. "No, no, what do- what am I supposed to tell my parents?" He smiled.
"That you're going to your boyfriend's house to do an art project." You laughed.
"Yeah, right." He smiled, pointing to your class. "You get to class too," you said with a smile. He winked and walked off to his own class. You sighed, walking to your desk.
You pulled the rubric back out and stared at it for ideas. This would be your final for the class. Gray's too, and you didn't want to mess it up.
"So, today?" Gray asked, catching up with you at your locker. You smiled.
"Gray," you said with a smile.
"Come on, baby, you've never come over before- and it's for school anyway." You smiled, packing your bag.
"They won't let me."
"Then lie!" You laughed. "Come on, please, please? We'll get Starbucks on the way home." He pouted and you squished his cheeks together.
"You're cute."
"Y/N, please?" You sighed. You pulled out your phone.
"One hour, I'll tell him I'm going to the library." He clapped his hands and hugged you. You shook your head against his chest as you texted your dad to tell him you were going to the library to do a project.
He sent back an ok and you carried on with your afternoon, walking to Gray's car instead of the bus stop. "This is going to be so fun, baby."
"We're not doing anything, we're just doing our project," you said with a smile.
"I know but you get to come over and we'll have a mini party and-"
"My Starbucks please, Grayson." He chuckled and shook his head.
You got home with your coffees in no time and drive to Grayson's place. "Wow," you said with a smile, walking into his room. He closed the door and grinned.
